What kind of holi are these channels celebrating?In every channel's holi,I only see the actors and actresses wearing expensive designer clothes, applying colors on their faces just for the namesake and dancing to holi songs and having masti.
Is this how people celebrate holi?No.Who wears designer clothes on holi?And who applies holi colors just like a little make up on the face?In the 2000s also I have seen many such special programs in other channels where the actors would really play holi alongwith dancing and having fun.They never used to wear such kind of designer clothes.
Since last few years, these channels are commercializing holi festival too like other festivals. Holi toh sirf ek bahana hai,aise special programs banake inhe sirf trps haasil karna hai.

Rightly said ..I agree .. and it's happening to most of the festivals ... its becoming money making tool .. while there is nothing wrong in celebrating together , but there's hardly new in any celebrations now .. the cast will come together and do the same thing for any festival ... the festivals have become events ..

You know the worst part is...pahle channel ke events pe holi khelte hain...fir dobara show main bhi holi dikhate hain...
Ek hi baar dikhao na...either on show or on events..

It is just because of competition, which channel will organize the most lavish holi, these expenses are also paid up by big time advt co. Also Sab never used to host such events, but since two to three years, they too have started it !!

Can anyone explain me the logic of having such larger than life events ? Who watches them ? For every such festivals almost all the channels have the same kind of celebration. Two hosts either men or women will crack some useless jokes, often criticisng someone or one another. Than some actors who generally belong to the shows airing in the same channel would come and dance like they will win JDJ trophy today itself.

Instead why can't a particular event be organised and give us the live telecast ? Let those people be themselves instead of faking it.

And everything is scripted in these shows.They organize some games but they already decide who should be the winner.So only those people play well who are going to be declared as winners and rest purposely play badly.

Haan ab jaise tmkoc mein holi dikhane wale hain which will go on for a long time
