Problem ye hai science stream me ki 10th ke baad Science appna rang dhang puri tarah se badal leta hai😆 Secondary science aur Higher secondary science me zameen aur aasman ka fark hai.

Its not that the syllabus is vast. Its same in each stream but the whole concept of science you have learnt so far become obsolete all of a sudden. Especially Mathematics, it seems there is no link at all.

Besides for a student from Arts and Commerce stream, after 12th its Bachelor's degree which generally is a TDC course. B.com or B.A or B.B.A or B.B.M.

Par ek science ka student agar B.Sc karta hua paya gaya the first thing you will say is lagta hai engg aur medical me chance nahi mila. So basically students from science stream are under double pressure. First its about career and second about the society. DOno milke bache ki jaan le lete hai.

As far as entrance exams are concerned, unlike general exams they work more on reasoning than on theoretical knowledge. If you are planning for an entrance exam try working on your aptitude because that is most required thing.

I am not sayng ki Arts aur Commerce me padna nahi padta just saying how different sciece stream is from other streams. Please don't take it otherwise.

Debby, I totally agree with the way you analyzed science stream.Like you mentioned,the child between doesn't find much of a link between the subjects he has done previously in lower grades.But this happens more with the state board kids.The CBSE ICSE kids are already accustomed to such syllabus in their 10th grade itself.They do not feel the transition to 12th grade much as compared to the state board kids...And unfortunately I belong to state board 😒

Bsc karna toh jaisa gunha hi hogaya hai.And that is solely because the bachelor courses in science get a step motherly treatment by the society.And that is wrong.Har insaan science karke engineer/doctor nahi ban skta.In India,a child chooses his profession because of the society more than because HE WANTED to pursue it.

Uniform educational structure Kimaya. We desperately need it now.

Literature cannot be helped with as each state has to teach its own language but other subjects should have same books, same standard and same structure.

All state boards should work within the guidelines of the centre . We should introduce uniform code of conduct, Similar examination procedure, equal standard of question paper and evaluation process. Fir hum All India exams ko fair keh payenge.

Yes,standardization always helps.And then there every child will be given a fair chance coz every student will be sailing in the same boat.

Also a standardized education system is much easier to implement.

Yahape someone has credit based system,some other boards has merely grading,some still have the old percentile...its so so difficult to evaluate!

Grading system se leke syllabus everything should be uniform.

Uniform isliye implement nahi ho pati is probably because they do not get consent to go further on the idea because at least one board rejects the proposal.
