How important is to say 'I love you'?

Love. A feeling that could take you the heights of ecstasy or to the depths of despair. The four lettered word that can make your world go around or bring it to a stand still. We all seek it, crave it and sometimes demand it. They say to love someone is divine but to be loved by that very person would mean that you are special, a blessed child of God. Well, blessed or not is something that one has to experience to find out. And yes one does not always find love where you want it. There are poems, Ghazals on the very emotion. "Tere Jahaan Mein Aisa Nahi Ke Pyaar Na Ho, Jahan Umeed Ho Iski Wahan Nahi Milta," is a line from a Ghazal that comes to mind and that is what happened to Suvreen Guggal (Smiriti Kalra).

She fell in love with Yuvraj Singh (Shivin Narang) and had gone and confessed her feelings only to be told that he looked at her as a friend only. Heart break. Yes, her heart was broken but she had the courage to go and say it. She did what her heart told her to do (or is it head really?). Suvreen Guggal is a woman of action, she once on a path will follow it through. Be it Besharmi March or the recent Molestation Case. She is not one to cower down. She faced opposition at every stage but she held steadfast. And in love too she did the same. She was rejected or at least her affections were. But she found a new path, path of ambition. To be a Topper no matter what. If not in love, her love to express herself through Fashion took the front seat and she was at the helm of it.

Yuvraj Singh. The confused man. He did not realize his affection for Suvreen ran deeper than just a friend. Typically man, would be a very feminist retort. However, is it just a man thing? Is it that he does not feel or recognize his own emotion? Or is it that as a man he thinks he has more responsibility to shoulder as a son, a brother and first of all a MAN that a fragile emotion like Love is something he would rather not entertain? But love is no one's slave. It strikes when you least expect it. Today, Yuvraj near to the door of death realized that what he feels for Suvreen runs deep, deeper than he had first thought. And so he has made a mind map, (what people don't do when in love??) to woo Suvreen. Is it because he feels there is competition? Competition in form of her teacher, Rehan Charles (Mohit Malik). Or is it his own realization?

In view of the upcoming day of confession of the very emotion, "The Valentine's Day" lets learn from the viewers what it takes to fall in love and say it. Its like a wish that perhaps one feels goes unanswered, but then is one ready to get "No" as an answer.
