Mauli shouldn't need to leave her family but she needs to give a little more to her relationship with Ishan. Till now it has been slightly selfishly lopsided when it comes to Ishan. Mauli has taken him and his needs for granted (maybe unintentionally) so this push is needed for her to reflect on whether she is being fair to Ishan or no.

She is selfish but from her pov she's right too

according to me...she better call off the marriage...she really cannot adjust with it...she is not mentally prepared for it at all..ishaan mom is right and logical but than she has to let go certain relationship which she cannot at all and also her work...ishaan mom is not keen of her working
