It's infuriating...as a female, as a medical professional myself ...who has spent YEARS in school to get where I am...only for a stupid show to say that a working woman risks losing her husband, is a bad mother and a bad wife

Simply because she has dreams?
Heck...she SAVES LIVES!!

And what about the man...what's his job?? To see half naked woman dancing around in the rain and cooking kheer for him ... that's enough for him to leave his wife...and its OKAY!?!?!?

It's pure garbage...I don't know what the writers are smoking, or we've got some 90 year old dadi's writing such a terribly regressive and revolting track

they are showing what actually happens in real life. you think women who balance their work and family everyday dont face this today? They still do and family members dont make it easy just because they are working. they also expect women to prioritize family over everything rather than balance and help out sometimes. This show did have a weak storyline for kunal and nandini's EMA arc but it is very real in many aspects and hence it gets so much hate. people dont like it when reality of our society is shoved in their faces.I am not saying that there are no families out there with progressive thinking. our society is patriarchal and hence the mindset regarding this issue is still significantly in regressive mode. EMA is morally wrong but it happens and couples fall out of love all the time. there is regret, guilt, anger, heartbreak , sadness even indifference at some point post break up/divorce. I love this show for shedding light and being real about so many things despite of how risky it is to show on a daily show considering 90% of our daily shows are utterly ridiculous, regressive and full with BS.
