Kunal never cheated on her so what was he doing when he slept with mistress
May be in shakti s world sleeping with another woman at wife s back is divine and normal
But I come from low class regressive family.

This one was clearly stupid.

Even watch nishabd and so many other shows made on this theme for such a plot. The execution in silsila was simply worst. I would have got it if there was even a part that was coherent but there was none.

Guy falls for someone out of nowhere, girl falls out of nowhere, cheat gladly without remorse and then victimize themselves. Now Mauli has joined the league by taking Kunal back without sparing a second thought to why has this man returned when till yesterday he clearly refused to and insulted her too on the top. She doesn't want to think what changed in an overnight.

Mauli was the only one sane till now and now she is ruined too to show divine love of lovers and how their love is so pure.

Indian audience loves Pakistani shows but Indian tv isn't gonna go the Pakistani way in the foreseeable future! Main reason being they aren't solely based on a specific pairing or love stories!
Taking silsila into context, they wouldn't have ever come up with justifications of ema or shown the culprits in a positive light! The characters don't have to be glamorized! If a woman would shelter her friend in her house, she wouldn't have her friend dressed provocatively! If her friend happens to be a fashionista then she'd make sure to have her toned down!
Recent show on ema being Ghar titli ka par, evil was shown evil, though the wife was a bit stupid to not notice her husband's growing interest in her friend!
Other examples of really good ema based shows would be adhoori aurat and makaan.
