What happened to the SIAC Fest?

Hi guys, this might be my last post regarding SAAKK as I'm feeling really bad about the TRPs All other serials of Star Plus have been copying their OG versions dialogue by dialogue except for SAAKK. Maybe, that's the reason why the show isn't fetching good numbers currently.

And if they wanted to show something in Goa, they could've shown the fest happening there rather than Shaurya getting upset and leaving for Goa. I mean it didn't seem practical to me, and as far as I've analyzed Shaurya I don't think he's that kind of person who'd run away to some place far away from Anokhi just because she didn't believe him when he proposed to her. I believe Shaurya takes his profession very seriously, and there was this fest planning and him shifting to the Patiala branch. Shaurya had so much important things to do other than dating Anokhi. And according to the OG version, the fest takes place before Shaurya's accident.

I am honestly not enjoying the way they're moving with the story. There wasn't any need to create this unnecessary track (DevGun plotting). They could've easily followed the original version where the fest was organized before all this drama. And we could've got so many scenes of Shakhi, Shastha and Ahir. But sadly, story went the other way. I just hope they haven't forgotten about the fest track and it's better that they follow the original version.

Original version of this show sounds terrible! I am glad they didn't follow MU trails related 'Who loves Whom' rather... ShaKhi are clear that they are into each other!!

Regarding fest - Covid cases ars on rise all over country... Showing a show with lot of people, required for Fest would have been difficult... I am glad they scrapped it out.

Audience for this show is different from OG and so is theme and hence TRPs aren't matching.. Plus Time slot.. Over there apparently Shagun brought in TRPs wave... But here ever since the promo with Shagun is out... I guess people have lost interest in plotting game... Given show is meant to be catering young audience.

I am not going to complain about coming to Goa track... No matter how stupid it looked but it was a required move due to restrictions! It was rushed story, rushed planning and everything... Hats off to team for making arrangements !!! However, they could have put in little more efforts for Anokhi's dialogues and scenes..

Now coming to story... It is actually coming back on track (strictly in my view) from this week onwards... I couldn't enjoy the show (strictly my opinion, not TRP audiences, not any other member or fandom) with both leads acting soo much out of character... I cannot blame everything on Goa Rush... Plus the whole planning by Devi and Shagun ruined whatever was good part of the show... Making show look like a typical show...

Again Shagun isn't required in this show...literally what role does she serve? Wanted to show Anokhi's heartbreak.. Let Devi insult her... Wanted to let Anokhi know the truth about Soch... Ley sisters gossip... Shagun's presence for me is ruining the show because she is negative and outright vamp unlike Shagun 1.0... Had Shagun been here to just warn and support Anokhi to big dreamer... Understandable... She herself is proclaiming here that she is bewakoof, and giving extra tips to Anokhi to not be a fool... Like what the hell?

But seems like makers thought that Bringing Shagun is going to bring TRPs like it did in OG.. Because you see... Most TRP topping shows have the concept 🤢

@bold - Yes since the show caters to mostly the young audiences, people have not been liking the vamp Shagun track. Also, that you mentioned that I came to know that the Shagun track had worked in the OG version... My god! How boring it is seriously 🤢 I can't bear to watch even a minute where there is Shagun, she truly annoys me! My grandmother loved this show when they used to show Shaan- Aastha's track alongside Anokhi-Shaurya... Since Shagun's entry, she quit watching the show.

Exactly! It would have been so much better had they never brought back Shagun. Because I feel Shagun's character had a closure... She chose her dream over love, and left to pursue higher studies in Cambridge... Before leaving, she vented out her feelings to Shaurya that she didn't appreciate his reaction to her admission in Cambridge, that he couldn't understand her love and that he will find someone some day whom he will love so much that he won't bear to live a second without her. She said everything she needed to say before leaving for Cambridge. And that was great!! I loved & respected that Shagun so much... Now look, what has been made of her character. People find it indigestible to accept that the same Shagun would turn out to be like this and quit her dreams.

I hope that the makers realize how this track isn't working for the audiences and her character takes an exit.
