New to the show

Hi guys i am still new to show.Started watching once i heard of the unique concept but one think i don't understand since i have not seen this from the start how does Saumya not know she is a transgender?

I am not able to understand this?I mean she is a transgender right,so it means she has body of male but associates with being a female so how can she herself not know she is transgender?Or has she had some operation done as a child?

Actually in this show Somu doesn't have any male secondary sexual characters like masculine facee etc...

She has been isolated most of her life n hence this no idea about sexuality

and she was grown up very secular with out any idea of world...

her mother made her so innocent that she doesn't know how world works...

Somu was raised up as girl... dressed as such and had a girl face... so she considers her self as girl

But why was she raised as a girl by her parents?I mean she was born as a boy right and at that time they wouldn't know how her features will turn out or not?So why did they decide to raise her as a girl?Generally it is the person's own choice as he/she is not able to identify with the gender they are born with.But here why did they parents take that decision when he was just born?

The problem was saumya is still not clear

Bcoz since childhood we saw her as a girl only

N in India kinnar is a umbrella term used 4 various medical conditions... Maybe saumya is having one of it n not what we actually associate kinnar with

Hmm but its sure that she was born with male reproductive parts that is why her mom didnt want the marriage to be consummated.Hence i was wondering why parents took the decision to raise her as a girl?
