i wish the moderators had been able to get Tisca on live chat -- would have loved to hear her -- seems to be a thinking person and not a vacant head

as far as sita-laxman stuff is concerned, let me remind u all that from our past also there had been examples in indian society where after an accidental death of elder brother ,the younger brother marries his wife, its very much in practise in many castes and tribes even today, so what sita-laxman r u all talking abt?

stop this non sense yaar

As has been rightly mentioned by you shweta, the idea of getting the elder brother's wife married to the younger brother is prevalent in present times also in many villages, towns and everywhere.
What we have all objected to in the serial is the way in which the entire matter has been projected. Especially when they are showing happenings in a modern, cultured family. I think that none of us would have objected to Urvi marrying Karan had the entire matter been decided before and they had both agreed to the alliance. Our objection has been the disgusting way in which the episode has been projected. All through the serial the relation between Urvi and Karan has been shown to be akin to that of a mother and son, as Karan himself has pointed out. Then, why do the producers suddenly need to do this? Boost the flagging TRP? 😡

In its fag-end, this serial at least deserved a decent end. What would have been so wrong if Urvi and Lakshy had gotten married and Karan cld have thought of starting his life anew, without shweta and everybody cld have been happy? No, but soaps are not destined to be like that. 😭

i remember once they had shown Yana out for revenge for some injustice done to her father -- the makers seem to have abandoned that thread altogether.
as far as the "marriage", conveniently conducted at the temple -- the feeling is more of disgust than anything else. all through they have shown Urvashi and Karan to have a chaste bhabhi-devar relationship and now suddenly, they are being married off!! one saving grace though was when Urvashi in tears asked Karan whether he even thought it necessary to ask her what she wanted.

very well pointed out RikNik. It seems men always take us women for granted and feel that they are our saviours always.
Wish they wouldn't take us for granted and would have respected us more and thought us capable of taking our decisions.
