I agree the consistency of the characters has remained..and the changes that we see in both characters are more like growth than change yet has kept the basic essence of the characters intact.. Even Kumud, has mellowed down and now seems much more patient and forgiving with him..But it makes sense because she now knows him in and out..In helping him discover himself, she herself has begun to understand him more than he understands himself.. So I don't find it out of character for Kumud when she succumbs to him and lets him overpower her emotionally..like yesterday..coz she knows what she means to him.. Reminds me of that line from a song from the Hum apke hai kaun? ''Use hai pata uske hi hathon mein meri dor hai ''

About the future, I dont want to think too far ahead honestly.. But I think the marriage of Pramad and Kumud is inevitable..I don't know under what circumstances it happens but I guess they will stick to that part of the novel.. After Pramad dies , thats when I want Saras to have the ''zidd'' to get her back in his life which never happened in the novel...

Sorry for the late reply...Samarth had send me packing the lappie to read the book😆
There is transition...As I said somewhere else also, and I think Shree mentioned in her post about the Role reversals too...amd quoting my own post there...
" how Kumud was like a flowing river...as if flowing on both banks with full energy...and Saras looked as calm as the ocean...but the moment this river met the ocean, she calms down...she merges herself so fully..calmly..as if reaching the destination...and right now the ocean is at its turbulence...because the salty ocean is having a taste of the sweet water that is merging within him..."

IT is a wonder na...how a strong woman like Kumud can surrender like she does...the way he lashed out with water the day before and still she stays calm as oasis...this is the same Kumud who used to snatch kites from him because she thought he was getting more credit than her...

About the future track...well I guess we will have to face that when it comes...and about the aftermath on Pramad's death...I thnk the circumstances are quite different now...because in those days Widow remarriage was not permissible...that was the main reason why Kumud had to renounce the world ..and Saras marry Kusum..I simply dont see this Kumud renouncing the world😕😆 So let us see..for now we are enjoying the best part of their relation ...

But she herself has granted the right. Why should he not feel possessive? Don't make him impatient...Kumud Sundari, all may not have your disposition!

Just two days back I shared this in CB...
"It's not about seedha or ultra, arshi, I think the point is 'patience'. Your sex has natural knack for it. For us, the idea stops at 'I think' stage only...Can't handle the pressure if The Fair ones decides to make us Jealous...I tell you, Just can't...🤢"

Haha and they say women are more jealous...See what wrong beliefs are being propagated...??

But I do think Kumud accepting him as he is, is something very unique...she does blame him that he just wants to possess her and hence he was jealous, but the moment he spoke ..the moment he opened his heart, she saw reason, and I think she liked his possessiveness ...and so then his act of putting his name on her palm took a different meaning altogether as he said you are mine...

Oh yes!! It was actually funny and she was so blissfully unaware of the reasons of his anger and was blissfully recounting the jodis of bachpan😆

God these dialogues that saras says are amazing, truly his character is one of a kind. Samud too is one of a kind. Today's episode was great and just like you said, i liked how he came equipped with the mehndi cone to write his name onto her hand😊😊

He was leaving nothing to the fate...😆 and did not trust a mehendiwali a bit!!!😆agar galat likh diya toh??😛 So he himself does it...😆 no chance taking...
Thanks yaara for the comment😃

So well put, I never thought it this way! Very good and irritant analysis, as this will be the foundation of many events unfolding in future I suppose!

Hey J😃
It is indeed the foundation of their characters...the contrast in their upbringing and their basic nature, their visions and beliefs of love, and that is what makes them perfect!!

haaaye like alwz this post is ekdum FULL ON "SARAS" che......

First n foremost i hv to say Saras is ONE HECK OF POSSESSIVE person when it comes to his lady love...Jo acha bhi hai n lil bura bhi hai...i TRULY hope yeh possessiveness koi bura asar na ho n do GOOD THINGS lik it did yday... This possessiveness give SaMud to ONCE AGAIN confess their feelings towards each other in yet another level of magicness......

And once again i felt SO SO J of Kumud man...The way he told soo AUTHORITAVELY n SOO SOO WITH FULL OF IMMENSE LOVE ki "tum meri ho SIRF meri"..haaye... *main toh gayi* ...

Last scene ws CHERRY on the cake..Ab toh God ne bhi signal de diya..hope Saras c this n jald hi vo Kumud ka maang bhi bhar de...😉😉...
