Yes, ultimately everything in his character, the way he is so manly and still so vulnerable is a deadly attractive combo, and it all comes down to that, as you put it so poignantly...His kind of childhood..Going off on a different tangent here, did the movie Saraswatichandra have that kind of childhood? If not why was the song written like that? It so eerily matches the emotional status of hamara-wala Saras...
Hey, Vaishali and Arshicritic, Do you remember our conversation in Humeshaa's thread? Where in last post to Vaishali, I had written a direct quote from the book, describing SC's impact on Kumud, during his first Visit...well today Cvs produced same dialogue for Kumud, albeit n much simplified from...arshicritic this brings us to our constant scan, how faithful or wandering they are from the original...😲
Saraswathichandraji Meri maa kahthi hai mein bilkul lekshmiji ka roop hoon...kya aapko bhi aise hi lagtha hai ? Aap ki maa ek dam sahi kahthi hai 🤣 I just loved his foolish face at that scene with "Radhaji". I like the writer's sense of humour. Kusum was seeing him and then Kumud thinking what the hell is going on here,
The pool scene was interesting, finally a unique romance SLB style. Saras frustrated and just wants to vent out his anger, felt like he wants to actually shake her and ask her are you human but instead of that splashes the water at her in anger and the writers surprised me here with Kumud's response. After some days loved the dialogues today, well written. Saras is not a confident person like Kumud and his lesson starts here.Saras wants her to write his name in her hand, she asks him to leave but he says I can't go. I am not ready to read much into that scene, just want to enjoy the romance in that scene for now. A very well directed scene, passion oozing in that one kiss as if he stamping her saying you are already mine.
Oh Nandy you saved me some awkwardness'
In between, first time, i liked Kusum today:😃 "Saras bhai"'" Kusum didi jisko dil se chahti he'" she was indeed a true confidante today!👏👍🏼
Thanks Samarth, I am sure you have translated wonderfully and even if the wordings are not proper o are the king among the ignorant. Beautiful lines indeed, I almost feel maybe the author was one of those writers who compares love and beauty to nature. It felt like hearing Ilayaraja's or RD Burman's lyrics, thanks again.Reading your "Such kind of impact requires 'two way' call and mutual respects, not one sided 'deferments." , it has changed now, hasn't it. Saras respects and loves Kumud and Kumud the same as well, so using this line here does justice to their love at this stage. I had somehow felt that there was not much left of the novel other than the essence of the characters but if we are getting these dialogues from the original after a love confession I have to say maybe we have even got something of the story's originality getting tried out in this.
I am somehow happy that they tweaked Saras to be bit more appreciable, not sure if we would have liked the original SC.
