Krish is now teaching Pooja to play Snake on her cell phone. šŸ¤” He does this by guiding her fingers over the buttons while a plainly distracted and confused Pooja is frowning at him, and she loses the game which makes him groan. But the real reason she lost the game is because Brij just walked into the party office and briskly walked past her, taking in the sight of her squeezed up next to Krish with one glance and making her feel conscious.

Pooja promises to practice the idiot games Krish wants her to play and asks him if they can start the rehearsal so that they don't have to stay late. Krish wants to know if she's going somewhere and Pooja immediately gets flustered and says she has a little work. Shelley is watching all this resentfully.

Pooja and Brij are both watching the clock and counting the minutes. Pooja practices her song while Brij does his work in his office and both of them are clearly just phoning it in while waiting to meet each other properly. 😳

Brij comes out of the office to see somebody off and just at the precise moment Krish is giving Pooja some instructions. Pooja's been sneaking glances at his door all along and when she sees him, she can't help but smile but since Krish is standing next to her, she forces herself to pay attention. All Brij sees is Krish crowding up close to Pooja as she listens intently to him.

An agitated Brij goes inside his office and the scenes of the day play over in his mind - Krish squeezed up against Pooja with his hands over hers, Krish hovering over Pooja as she listens to him. (All the other times I've felt for Brij but honestly, THANK GOD for Krish this time because Brij needs to understand that Pooja might be a little dimwit who will wait around for him for eternity but there are plenty of other hungry sharks in the sea!)

Suddenly the phone rings and it's Giridhar. He tells Brij that Daddaji wants him at the house by 4 pm. Brij asks why and G. taunts Brij about his busy schedule. Brij gives him a fitting answer and promises to be there. He wonders what the sudden meeting is about and thinks he'll be back by 5 to pick up Pooja.

A furious Daddaji is waiting when Brij and Shamsher walk in. He tells Brij that one of their senior party members, Shrivastav, has completely destroyed the party's image. Brij wants to know what happened because Shrivastav is a well-respected and honorable man. G. scoffs and gets Shrivastav who looks ashamed. Daddaji explains:

Apparently Shrivastav romanced a girl half his age, got her pregnant, then refused to marry her and forced her to get an abortion. The press found out and she tried to commit suicide. Daddaji is so mad he doesn't even know where to start! (OMG! 😲Is this supposed to be foreshadowing? Because this is basically the MS/AT case except for the suicide angle. Yikes!)

Brij asks Daddaji to let Shrivastav explain his side of the story but Daddaji doesn't even want to look at him. Brij looks worried. Shrivastav grabs the chance and says he genuinely fell in love and wanted to marry the girl but then he got scared. (Um, excuse me, but if this man is supposed to remind Brij about his predicament then all I can say is 🤣. Brij is older but he's definitely not a uncle-ji!)

G. grabs this chance to shoot arrows at his rival while pretending to talk about Shrivastav. He says love is a dangerous game and once you come on the field there are no half measures, it's all do or die. What did he think, he could escape all consequences? Such a man shouldn't just be kicked out of the party, he should be run out of town.

Brij grimly folds his arms and stares at G. (I have a feeling G. just played Cupid. Brij is just the kind of guy who can't resist a challenge when it's put so insultingly to his face and G. might have just made up his mind for him!) Suddenly his phone rings - it's Pooja. It's 4.30 and she's waiting for their dargah date. G. looks suspicious and D. looks displeased at the interruption. Brij looks shifty in his usual manner around D. when anything related to Pooja comes up and cancels the call. 😔 At 4.45 she calls again. And again, he cuts the call.

Daddaji tells Shrivastav that G. is right. He wants Shrivastav's resignation that very instant. Shrivastav falls at his feet and begs D. not to kick him out of the party.

It's 5 pm and Pooja doesn't know what to make of Brij's disappearance. She thinks of calling him again but then thinks better of it and decides to message him. Just then Shukla comes up and tells her something important came up so Brij sent him to inform her that he won't be able to meet her that day. He thinks for a second and offers to send the car to drop her home. Pooja thanks him prettily as always and tells him it's ok, she'll manage. (You can't tell me Shukla and Shamsher don't suspect Brij is either in the process of falling in love or has completely fallen for Pooja!)

Brij comes out of the haveli to be confronted by the media who want his comment. It's super awkward because he was just calling Shukla to find out if he conveyed his message to Pooja. šŸ˜† The press ask him if the party will punish Shrivastav and if the girl will be offered compensation. For the first time since we've met him, Brij is taken aback. Shamsher advises him to leave by the back door and stays behind to tell the press that D. will release a comment himself.

Pooja goes to the dargah by herself, where she sadly wonders what is going on with her. Why does she always think about Brij? And why is he playing fast and loose with her emotions - giving her hope one second and ignoring her the next?

Suddenly Baba calls out to tell her that she's full of questions all the time šŸ˜† They never end. Pooja tries to protest but Baba says there's no use protesting. She's in love and its progressed to a full obsession. Pooja is shocked to hear Baba put her innermost thoughts out like that. Baba tells her that one day this love will destroy/consume her. Watch what happens next in this story! The wind scatters dead leaves everywhere as Pooja looks on in shock after Baba as he dances away.

Meanwhile, in Panchmarhi, Sumitra has another attack and collapses. Arti is not at home but Harivansh eventually arrives home to find her curled up in agony and takes her to the hospital. Even in her pain, Sumitra reminds Harivansh to call Billu since he knows people and can cut costs. Harivansh tells her not to worry about the expense.

Precap: The doctor informs Harivansh and Billu that Sumitra has cancer.

Ugh! Stomach cancer is absolutely the worst cancer. So sad for poor Sumitra! Even if she survives, I can see how Pooja will need to work so she can get enough money for her treatment and Arti's wedding. And ambition is apparently going to be her downfall, combined with love. So all the pieces are set!

It was hilarious! 🤣 But it was also kind of cute in a retro way. Like a little boy getting his favorite teacher flowers while she's busy thinking of her grown up fiance šŸ˜† The best part was the expression on Pooja's face - like, "Why do I have to do this?" and then promising to do it like homework 🤣

Smart of krish...he knows that this is as much as she can handle...next will be tetris...and then maybe a decade later she will realize that she too has the power to text BBP...
Shelley is watching all this resentfully.
If anybody is coming across as a player it is Krish, I thought initially he and Shelly were an item?

LOL I love your turn of phrase...

Yup, Brij time to start those wheels moving...you are only going to get older...

Agree with your comments in red. I really hope there is no Mrs. psycho pandey in the offing - i.e., it is a triangle not a quadrangle...a Krish-pooja pair up while sweet would be really silly and a time waste...
