Note: as you know, there was no epi on the 18th. They better give us a mahaepisode later to make up for it! 😡
We start where we left off on the 17th. Giridhar follows Brij into his office and complains that he first invites those kids to come sing in the office and then he yells at them when they sing. Brij says something about how this is first and foremost a party office and then turns the tables on G. by asking him how come he never keeps regular hours at the office even though he's not only a member of the party but an owner.
G. is unwilling to let things go and makes a dig about Brij being bothered by Pooja's singing and Brij hands it right back to him by telling him that if he put the kind of energy he puts into thinking and making nonsense digs at Brij into doing party work, then G. would have already achieved his goals. G. is furious and leaves. 😆
Brij waits until G. has exited the office and then asks Shukla to send Pooja in. He's shocked to find out that he's too late and she's already left.
Pooja sadly comes home to find her aunt and cousin watching a newsreport about Brij's rally and reception at the party office. Her aunt starts complaining that Pooja didn't tell her about the reception and how she wanted to go as well, etc. Pooja lies that she's feeling unwell and goes to her room.
Pooja's in her room taking off all the special jewellery she put on for Brij (awww!), while Brij is sitting alone in his office. They're both sad as they remember all the horrible things that went on that day - Brij ignoring Pooja's bouquet, yelling at the troupe to get out, walking by her when G. came to the office...
Brij wishes that he could explain his behavior to Pooja but he can't even though he knows he hurt her badly. He can however apologize and he resolves to do that. (Okay, this man definitely feels something more than mere lust!)
Pooja comes for dinner but barely eats anything. Her aunt follows her to her room and asks her what's wrong. Pooja starts crying and her aunt thinks its because she's homesick and decides to make her a glass of warm almond milk. Pooja's cousin is standing outside the room and can't understand why her mother's being so nice to the cousin she's always complaining about. Mami tells her daughter that she's a young idiot who doesn't understand that her cousin Pooja is a hen that lays golden eggs. 🤢
Meanwhile, in Panchmarhi, Billu and Arti bring Sumitra home and we find out Sumitra had to have a bunch of tests done and Billu has lied to her and told her that the doctor owes him a favor so all her tests are free. Arti thanks Billu and fills him in on the situation with Sumitra and how she's reluctant to spend money even at the cost of her health.
Siddharth comes to tell Arti that the date of their marriage has been fixed and asks her to specially tell Pooja. He also complains that he's been waiting for her for a long time at their neighbor's but Arti doesn't tell him she went to the hospital with her mother.
In Bhopal the next morning, Pooja is still sitting at home, depressed and wrapped in a shawl even though it's 11 am. Her aunt scolds her and tells her to go for practice despite her mood. Pooja agrees.
At the office, Brij is waiting anxiously for Pooja to arrive and tells Shukla that he doesn't want to take any meetings before 11 am. He checks his watch and wonders why she hasn't arrived as yet.
Precap: Brij comes out of his office and sees Krish holding Pooja's hand while he explains something to her. Bhavna sees this and grins. Pooja frowns uncomfortably as Krish hangs on to her. Brij scowls and gets more and more agitated by the second as he focuses on Krish holding Pooja's hand. 😆 🥳
I can hardly wait for tomorrow's episode 😈 (But then, what's new about that?! 😛) I don't care what Brij's relationship status is or what his motivations are, he deserves a little heartburn for his treatment of poor baby Pooja.
Does anybody else think Billu is actually the man for Arti? She doesn't seem to care for looks 😆 so if she wants someone who will stick by their family through thick and thin, then Billu is the man for it! This isn't the first time he's helped them.
