I agree and disagree with alot you said here..........I have never thought of Kaushi and Vasu at the same level of evilness either............I think Kasuhi negative nature has arised because one Sadhna is not her real daughter and two.....directly or indirectly she has always taken away from Ragni........and that is the seed in Kaushi's heart that as become into hatred for Sadhna...Though she does not plot against Sadhna....she uses "words" which sometimes hurts the most when it comes out of your loved one's mouth and HEART......Though she has not done anything to hurt Sadhna directly she has always been a part of the big plan in a odd way......She has never meant anything good for Sadhna....were as Ragni...even out of pity...has meant good for Sadhna....so I don't agree that Ragni is like Kaushi.............I would NOT but Ragni and Vasu in the same category either..........Vasu does not have any appriciation for "goodness and love"....she has to just feed her ego and thats it..............Ragni does appriciate Sadhna's goodness (and I am not talking about the current track)......Ragni had said "that I have always protected you and never listened to anyone when they said that you are after my happiness, I never listened to them....but you proved me wrong"...Though that is a very hurtful statement and completly wrong....u have to see the other side of the coin......Ragni does realize that Sadhna always meant good for her!!!...So you can't put her at the same level as Vasu either.............Yes I would agree with you that Ragni is not the best elder sister.......Sadhna as a younger sister is more mature and takes much more care of Ragni then Ragni has ever..........I would say she is also very self-centered.......the little dress issue, when Sadhna slaped Ranvir.....and the current track........But I think that it is because Sadhna is a much more stronger character then Ragni...........Sadhna has lost the two most important people in a person's life...her parents.....and in Ragni she sees those parents........because Ragni loved her when she needed the love the most ....in childhood............that is the bond that they have together..........whether is one sided or not..........Ragni loves her sister......conditional or unconditional...she loves her..........Time heals a lot of wounds......and that is what Ragni needs before she realizes all her mistakes..........And one major thing that sets Ragni aside from Malti....Avni....Kaushi...and Vasu............is the ability to apologize and say "sorry" to Sadhna........a quality that the other four don't have in the at all.................

One correction ....about Kaushi....she has mentally and emotionally abused Sadhana right from her childhood. Kaushi is scheming/plotting against Sadhana by keeping Sadhana away from her husband for her daughter's happiness.

I largely disagree with what is being said in this thread. Here is why I don't think Ragini is evil and should not be put in the same category as Malti/Avni/Kaushi/Vasu. According to me, a person is evil when they plan/plot/ scheme intentionally against a person.

We all know that Avni is the king or rather queen of schemers.

Even Malti has schemed many a times against her in- laws...which I don't think we need to elaborate on.

Now lets see Vasu. Though I don't think she is as outright negative as the ladies mentioned above- but she has also schemed and plotted intentionally against other characters in the show. Be it when she made Sadhna marry her son, by promising her something in return that she knew she would not give her. Or be it her entire drama that she has to go to Delhi when she wanted to cancel the Ragvir Reception and so on. The point is, she has lied, schemed in circumstances when nothing big was happening to her on the personal front but her ego or other character traits made her do stuff which was wrong.

As for Kaushi, I think even she is quite negative. She has planned stuff intentionally. A very small example from a recent episode. When Ranvir called up at the Sharma house, she purposefully sent Sadhna to the market because she did not want Ranvir to meet Sadhna. So the point is, she had planned against others when she herself was not going through a lot on the personal front.

Now Ragini. Though I don't support her in the kind of language she recently has been using on the show, I think she is far from evil. She has never intentionally planned to hurt other characters in the show. Also, I feel its not like her life is completely hunky dory right now. She is more a victim of fate and circumstances. I would have maybe said she is out and out wrong if she had not had the miscarriage and if Ranvir had always been at her side and she turned against Sadhna then. The thing is, The creatives have given her a reason to not like Sadhna right now. How right or wrong that reason is, is a matter of debate- which we have seen is different across all the members of this forum. But the fact of the matter remains- she is not even 1% similar to all the ladies mentioned above whose insecurities and schemes and reasons to plot have been unfounded and baseless and without any reason whatsoever.

Guys seriously, if someone asked me to describe sadhana, i would say that Sadhna was warm, balanced, thoughful, selfess, forgiving, mature, deep, strong, loving,secure, dignified, just etc. I really like her new attitude to life. Go Sadhna Go.

Guys, it has been around two months and looks like no body wants to move away from the blame game including the CTs.
Some of us are claiming that Ragini is the one who is suffering , she is not selfish she is in depression, she needs to be pampered more.
lease don't blame it on depression, if you know the medical symptoms of depression you will know she is not in any kind of depression.She is plain blindsided.
If Ragini's character has not convinced us that she is all confused and lost and and acting according to her mother's and Vasu's instilled thinking , then it is a shame to Parul's wonderful acting skills!

If some of you are still feeling Sadhana lies whenever she feels like, I agree.Sadhana is one of the perfect characters here , and mostly she will never be morally wrong.Like they say when necessary for good purpose one can lie she could have chosen to lie.She did not lie in the court becoz' she did not want to save Ranveer with a lie.I don't think anyone can compare Sadhana to anything but a pure ,selfless heart!

So lets end these blame games.lets remeber that the characters are written not from real life.Let's not get obsessed with them!
