Today is going to be rant my friends. I warn about it already😉
The episode was good for it made me smile, feel sorry and then lose it at different junctures. Why you ask me.. Here is why..
A leap of faith
For Gopi, the search for her Ahemji is based on her instincts. She is the only person who seems to have her wits about her. As she explains to Koki, her heart tells her that her Ahemji is in Bhuj. Actually I have a feeling her 'instinct' is nothing but the inference with the various facts in hand.
Everyone knows that Ahem started out of Bhuj (assuming they believe Aman's statement), but he never reached home. The Modi's searched Rajkot thoroughly and Ahem was not to be found. The next obvious inference is that he is in Bhuj or maybe somewhere between Bhuj and Rajkot. Gopi's 'instinct' is nothing more than her smartness talking. She is actually the only person from the Modi's currently who seems to do something for finding her husband, something in the right direction. But I digress😊
Gopi Ahem Modi continues her search in Bhuj after making sure that her family knows she is safe. She assures Koki too that Koki is not at fault rather it is Gopi, herself who wants to find Ahem, because, in her own words, she cannot live without him and her Maaji's pain without seeing her son is just way more than her physical tiredness and fatigue.
In her search, Gopi fights her fatigue, but also remembers her condition. The sweet talk to her child as she explains why she is doing it, assuring her child and in that herself about her decision is very touching. The hunger, fear shows as Gopi breaks down, eating Pav Bhajji becuase she realizes that whatever her good intentions, she needs to eat and rest to continue searching for her husband.
When one is hungry and tired, the problems look bigger and impossible to surmount but with food in her stomach and a short rest, Gopi's determination kicks back and she is ready to face the world to save her Ahemji😳 And Viola.. Her prayer to Kanhaji comes true and she is joined by a cute companion in her search.
Is this divine intervention? A baby camel, separated from its loved ones comes and finds Gopi, who is away from her husband and her maaji. It is amazing that these two strike a chord and Gopi takes the chottu camel with her on her search.😳 However impossible this may be, I loved the parallel and the chottu camel is cho cute😛
Gopi, in her own pain without Ahem, still finds it in her heart to think from Koki's perspective and also finds it in her to share her food with a stray animal. She looks for nothing in return. She just spreads smile wherever she can and continues her search. I am amazed at her finding small joys even in this difficult times to keep her going. She is a strong woman. A person who will fight unto death for her loved one😊 I love her for this while I still find it unbelievable that a person can be so selfless. Yet, it was Gopi who brought a smile to my face today. In her prayer, her conversation with Chottu camel and her determination she reminded me that the world does revolve sometimes on a leap of faith😛
The mother and MIL
Koki... Just how much will she punish herself for one mistake? Just like Gopi, who could not forgive herself for ruining Ahem's papers, Koki cannot get over the fact that it is because of her words that Gopi left the house in search of Ahem.
Her stern words to Gopi was a rant, asking her to come home, pleading with her to listen and finally when Koki found that her Gopi vahu is not going to listen, she is so moved that she faints. A mother to both Ahem and Gopi, Koki cannot take it that they may never come back😭
Her need to find them is however stopped by her health and she gets bed ridden. Loved her immediate action of wanting to go to Bhuj. Out of everyone else in MM, after Gopi, Koki is the only one who seems to want to do something other than cry
Frustrations and some questions
Now for my rant.. Here are a few questions to the rest of the Modis.
Just where have you all pawned your brains at? I mean really? Gopi, a nine month pregnant DIL calls to say she is in Bhuj. Completely understand the sudden and shocking nature of the news but is it so important for every member to stand holding your hands in distress around Koki?
What is with Chirag and Parag anyway? Jigar darling why do you look so helpless when Gopi said she is in Bhuj?
And Parag😡 Man.. It is your son who is missing and his brother who is volunteering to go find him .This is not a all or nothing mission is it? If Jigar goes, you will all go but if Aman goes, no one goes? I mean..God. This man🤢
More than that, when Aman asked Jigar to stay back, you agreed?😲 And pray why are you and Chirag there at home? Cannot you guys take care of a bunch of crying woman while an extra hand goes in search of your missing son and DIL.
I wanted to scream.. Parag your son is MISSING.. Really.. M.I.S.S.I.N.G.. The way that these men behaved today. There is Dhawal, Jigar the worldly wise elder Modi men and they actually agree that none of them should step out of MM and leave everything in Aman's hand🥱 Oh Please... I am really ready to shake these people back to their senses😡
My rantings aside, we did have Jigar finally again telling Rashi that she is selfish. Looks like his frustration at not being able to do anything manifested itself and he showered his anger at Mr. Patel's no-news on Rashi.
Not sure if Rashi meant it really but Jigar in his anger finally told Rashi that he sees through her act of concern. Unfortunate that he may have read her wrong this time. Her act was there when she told him before Ahem went for the trip that she was worried about Gopi. Today she seemed to want to know what was happening. Karma bites Rashi back while Jigar, I think is in the brink of taking some action himself. He better😊 I am tired and angry at the other Modis men to say anything else😕
Tomorrow, Gopi feels that she is near her Ahemji and there he is😊 He is being beaten to pulp by the goons😕.. Will Ahem see Gopi? I think not but somehow I have a feeling that they will meet before Jigar joins them to take them home😳 Aww.. for the leap of faith😃
** Kinjal really loves her mom., Those tears of concern when Koki fainted were so real😊
** Mota Bhabhi again proved her love for Koki. Her stern love and her support is amazing👏
** Baa, I thought you were smarter than that You certify Aman while we think he is the one who is causing all this pain. With all this experience, Baa, I thought you would see the bad from the good
** Rashi, like you have your moments, Jigar is also human. He will sometimes lose it and as a wife, you need to learn to understand his PoV. Stop considering yourself as the victim and start thinking from another's PoV.. Something you advised your mother remember?
And last but not least.. I love Chottu Camel😳
. It was such a charged moment when Gopi sat there eating and had tears running down her cheeks. I felt so much for her.
