No it's not the first time the song was sang by a male voice, the previous version also was sang by a male voice and if you watch the saree folding scene for example as Gopi is walking away with the saree that Aham has helped her fold, and he smiles the male lalala starts so they play the male singing the song previously...However, new lyrics were added to the title track yesterday and those were sang by another male voice, not the same old male singing voice.
