I understand your sentiments and appreciate your effort to boost SBS rating. I love SBS and never want it to end. For that to happen, probably TRPs are important but I don't know if india-forums rating makes any significant difference other than making us online users happy.

Also, would like to point out that making a post to just say 2 words "Thank you" or "TFS" is not encouraged on the forum. It is mentioned in the 'note' section by the side of 'quick reply'

"We encourage discussions more than just a "Thank you" post, so say more than just that. Thank You only posts will be deleted, at admin's discretion and member may face temporary ban to discourage such practice."

Yeah, it definitely is more of just wanting the satisfaction of seeing SBS in higher standing in the forum...especially since TRPs are kind of out of our hands. I don't know if IF would make a significant difference at the end of the day, but I know that many actors and crew members do visit the forums, and I think it would be a nice gesture too if any of the SBS cast members visit the forum, for them to see the appreciation and it would be a good indication that they do have a strong fan group.

But yeah...more or less it's just the disappointment once again of SBS not getting its appreciation.

I'm most upset that countries outside of India aren't taken into account in viewership...because I feel like there is a ton of viewership in the US, Canada, etc for SBS...I've spoken to so many people who watch the show. And I never really knew how TRPs in India work (if anyone knows for sure, please let me know because I am interested in all such weird details 😆)...I tried searching for information on it but I was kind of getting mixed answers...most people were saying though that there is a group of households selected for this process (with their permission) whose viewership is recorded, and an average number is calculated...so really going off of this...unless we are people who live in India and have been asked to be involved in this, I'm not even sure if our Indian viewers here can make a difference in TRPs either
