I'm one the newer members of this forum - started visiting exactly 2 months ago. Surprisingly, it feels like I've been here forever.

I had followed C2005 extensively on TV, and wasn't at all aware of the Maha-Yudh that was going on here during the time. After C2005 I gave up on EMAET, and one day I just happened to see the Sharib-Banjo jodi hungama that was going on, and that kind of got me hooked - what the hell was going on?

So I came to this forum to check out videos of the episodes I'd missed, and then got to discussing them, and got addicted. Now I'm a full fledged member of this forum. But the initial road was bumpy.

The first person I joked around with on here was Abhilash, on some thread. He saw one of my posts, and asked me, in his witty fashion, if he could call me something other than Shady - because shady was the name of one of his muh-boli-behen's doggy. I shot back saying, 'no problem, you can call me Shady, I'll just call you Mamu, kai bolta?' and we had a good laugh over it. A few days later he was gone.

Since I was a new member to the forum, I hated the fact that people started chatting wherever they deemed fit, and started making fan clubs left and right. I didn't know anyone well, so I couldn't join in the chatter, and I didn't like that these fan clubs kept pushing the actual EMAET topics, which I cared about, to the back pages.

I was eventually so frustrated that I had planned to leave the forum, and even posted a goodbye post - but you sweet people of IF asked me to stay in the family. I decided to stay, but soon I led a kranti war against the fan clubs. I opened up a bunch of fan clubs for Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan - one after the other. My reason was that these people had also sung in songs, and that these fan clubs were for discussing them as singers, and not as actors. But that reasoning was flawed, and the fan clubs were all closed.

Lekin, like Bhagat Singh, my dhamaka had awoken the mods, and soon enough, all fan clubs were banned from the forum. However, in the process, my Viewbie status was martyred, and I was given a warning. Nevertheless, I had no regrets, since my fight was only for the betterment of this forum.

When I finally got tired of the Krantikari stuff, I decided to make friends. And I did. My first was Anolda - I used to bother him all the time with my PMs arguing over this and that and complaining about the Mods, and he always patiently replied. What a guy! Eventually, I got to know more people like Appaji and Zahida. But ironically, it was when I moved to the member interaction threads that I had the greatest fun. I met Adi, Jaya, Deep, Jadoo, Daisy, Anu, Vinnie, Manju ji, and the rest. I had well and truly joined the ullu club, and am still stuck there and trying hard to free myself.

In the midst of this there was the MOTW thread - which I both loved and hated at the same time - but it was great fun. I am still proud of it.

My status on here has changed faster than a chameleon. I started off as a Viewbie, was demoted to a Senior Member, then worked up to be a Goldie, and now I have IF Dazzler in my sights.

For May, I was among the top 10 IF Addicts. 🤢

I didn't want to write but I have to after reading Shady's post. I do have some bitter experiences too but I will leave them alone & will like to share goood things. I did find people here caring once they know you. I met many people and have interactions with them and glad to meet Shady, Adi, Anol da, Sri, Pallavi ji, Varsha ji, Jadoo ji, Jaya, Chukkna, Meena, Anushree, Daizy & Vinnie.

I can't forget when Adi wished me on mothers day mentioning that afte wishing her mother he thought of wishing me, he just made my day. Shady in MOW giving me stick house saying that Manju ji can use stick If he does anything wrong, gave me feeling like a son is talking to his mother. Really appreciate the love/respect I got from everyone else too. Special thanks to Anol da, Adi, Shady, Jaya & jadoo ji who missed me and made me come back when one time I decided to stay away from IF.
