n aneesha ji.. i never said bad things about amey anywhere.. i had posted once on the amey fan club too supporting amey... i believe in giving 'constructive' critiscsm.. please see my prev post in this same thread when i said that amey is a great singer and stood for him !!!

i cant decide who shuld win II..because they both r good !!

Each singer has is pros n cons.. i prefer to see pros in them all and then give the critique when required coz we are all human and hence not perfect !!!

To quote what I said about Amey:

Amey is almost 10 years older than Hema, to say he is better than Hema is really harsh..becuase you are talkin about a person who has had FAR FAR FAR more singing experience than Hema. Amey's weakest point is he really isn't good with new fast songs. When he sings old songs or slower songs he does a fantastic job.. When he sang 'Tum Aa Gaye Ho Noor Aa gaya hain', it was just phenomenal.. he sang just 2 lines, it was beautiful..his laga chunari pe daag was fantastic..tum jo mil gaye ho was gud.. i didnt like his aadat that much, rang de basanti n mahi ve were just painful.. he also has breath issue which is very clear at times.. u can hardly hear it when hema or karunya sing.. Amey is a great singer no doubt..but its not fair to compare him with Hema..

How does tat make me say 'bad' about Amey ?!

and i said Karunya 'deserves' to win not that he must.. i will say the same about Amey that he 'deserves' to win.. if either win I will be equally happy !!

Excuse-me madhavir!!!!!!!!!! lemme tell u am a huge fan of hemu n i think hemu is far far beta than amey......did u c my signature..........there isn't any sign of amey bcoz he's 5th on my list........n in my post i'm not comparing amey from hemu am comparing him 2 karu.............n for ur kind information amey's juda hokey bhi was so gud ( wut if only u didn't like it) da only thing was wrong that he was smiling. his mahi ve wasn't bad but just it wasn't great........it was average(gud) uska gala kharab tha wen he sang rang dey basanti.....but it's wasn't bad........it was also gud..........n lemme tell u he never got bad comments on any of these song..........he only got gud comments or average comments. i think u didn't listen 2 his aashiq bnaya........go n listen 2 it then u'll know if he's gud in new songs or not..........or jahan tak mera khayal hai karu ne bhi kabhi new songs nahin gayee.......he just sings songs like...lagan lagi, kawan kawan n layee wi na gayeee ( all of sukwinder's songs). i think only u r da person who is not liking da songs of amey which he's singing for sum unknown reasons.

karunya is the only singer in II2..
while, in SRGMP we had many.. so, i think
he has good opportunity to come up into bollywood...
im sure, sonu would get him some contracts even if
he doesnt win it...

while comparing hemu and karu, i would say
hemu is far better than karu.. karu sings well,
but onething is karu doesnt have any south-indian
accent, while hemmu has..

but talent wise, hemu is much better...

i think karunya sings sukhwinder songs to get votes from northern ppl as they are the only ppl who are watching these shows.... i think he is very good but not as good as hemu no way

aneesha, I would like to just stress one thing over and over again, that Amey is an amazing singer and that is my personal opinion. After hearing his Laga Chunari Pe Daag, my expectations from Amey is a LOT more!! His Juda Hoke Bhi was good.. and so was his Mahi Ve. Heck, I liked his RDB too.. if it was any other singer I would be shocked at the simple fact that he attempted such a hard song. I dont like his newer songs because his older songs are according to me MUCH MUCH MUCH better. I loved his Tu Mile that he sang during the Piano Round.. I loved his Tanhayee he sang during auditions..but they come no where close to his Lagaa Chunari pe daag. If he can pull off such an amazing old son which is very hard, it really shouldnt be that hard for him to pull of a Suno Na... I wish he would sing more classica songs though..I cant wait to listen to his Satrangi re..

Karu..well Kava Kava and Lagan Lagi are relatively new, so I wouldn't say he sings only old songs. Whatever happens, Amey and Karu deserve to be top 2..after tat who ever performs better on that day wins.. but these 2 really really deserve to be there in the finals..
