I am also from USA but I don't have problem in voting (or revoting) as you mentioned. Do not include the whole country if only you have problems.

The point I was making was ID has shown his double standards and people who are in denial and think he is the greatest mentor should wake up and see the reality. Remeber there is difference between Mentor and Music director. Everyone hates HR for the obvious games he plays but there are others who play the same game but they are "Chhupe rushtams". AS and ID fall in that catagory. Last but not least If ID should have fought for more deserving Nihira. Nihira is gone now Hema is going to be out. I have no problem with that. I accept it.

My top pick among girls was nihira too but can u elaborate on how ID could've fought for nihira? do u mean before she was out or once the results were declared? i agree that ID didn't praise nihira as much as he should've, but it would've been illogical for him to keep dragging on the nihira issue after the results were announced. votes are votes (assuming no rigging)

about hema's getting 8 from ID. i felt pretty bad for hema also and i believe he deserved at least a 9. but then looking from another angle, at this stage i do not blame ID for giving into some politics. people in the forum gets pretty emotional when some injustice happens on the show. so for the mentors who worked hard on their contestants for months feel the heat of the competition and injustice much more. AS has been openly rude to ID's students from the start of the competition and ID has been praising all other contestants for a long time. there is a limit upto which some1 can remain neutral before cracking under stress.

yes injustice may have occured (I say 'may have' because u r a hardcore hema fan and some non-hema fan might agree with ID's judgement) but the harsh reality is AS was asking for it for a very long time. the unfortunate consequence was that hema suffered as a result.

Here I dont agree with you Varsha ji...
When ID was shown praising Himani in an episode, Nihira was eliminated the next time and everyone shouted at ID. I remember that ID was shown coming on to the stage and blessing Nihira as well in that same episode (this was in the recap that was shown after Nihira was "voted" out). I dont want to blame ID for Nihira's elimination. He's always believed in her. I still remember when he said that "saregama se mera faayeda hua hai" and also "aaj bhi main khaali nahin jaaunga" after she had mesmerized me with her rendition of the title track from HDDS...

How can we blame ID if Gadhendra ji only edits the parts that he wants to show. Out of all the comments that are shown, HR's comments for Vinit constitute 50-60% of the "time allotted"...

Should he have just hyped his contestants even when they were not singing well? Would that be the mark of a good mentor? I really am not qualified enough to say. I remember ID scolding Twinkle - he said he can just praise her like everyone else but that'll not help her in the long run... He was angry at Vinita because he knew she could have done a lot better. Could he have been more sensitive about it? YES definitely. Some kids need to be scolded and others need to be encouraged to bring out the best in them. Every individual has to be handled differently and thats where he erred...

I still believe and maintain that ID is a simple minded person who just doesn't have the ability to play politics of the calibre of HR and AS. Its like pitting Karl Rove against poor Wesley Clark 😆...

Regarding ID and his 7 points to Hem, I've already mentioned in another post that it was most unfair of him. Its ridiculous that Hem gets 5 (or was it 6) when he forgets the words and Vinit gets higher.
This is a result of the acrimony between ID and AS ever since the first fight they both had and then the disparaging comments made against "NE ki awaaz". ID is now trying to get his own back and poor Hem "sab ke beech mein pis gayaa 😒")
Shame on all three mentors for trying to satiate their ego at the expense of real talent (as we see it)...

Yes Hemu deserved a 10, but the same has been perpetrated against Debo (and Nihira, remember her 8's,9's against Himani's 10's)

But look at the brighter side Hemu took 2 difficult songs and did them brilliantly, I just wish he was part of ID's gharana, his skills would have been better highlighted even though he would have gotten low marks, that is the eventual goal, they have to be able to highlight their skills, and Adesh has been giving him easier songs till date. Today he was able to pull a Sukhwinder song so well(I have not seen anyone come this close to Sukhwinder ever)

His ramta jogi was indeed the best "performance" of today's show (read farce)...
