FRACAS EPISODE - A BLATANT RATINGS TACTIC

Dear Mr. Gajendra/Shaan,

I may be one of the very few who could see through what you were doing with this episode, but then again, you dont care about my type of audience. You care about the hundreds of millions who will tune in to watch the show after the fracas that was caused when those 3 knowing contestants decided to walk out together from the show.

So blatant was their _expression, where one minute they were holding hands waiting for the results and one second, they walked out together after Shaan announced the name of Vinit being the winner. If all this was real for even a second, they should have walked out after Debojit's name was announced considering that they spoke about it the other day or better just boycott the show. They are kids who cannot even for a minute pull all this stunt off without prior coaching and prepping by you and the organisers. Do they care about their name and career and future to risk losing everything, my answer is HELL NO, when considering that would have already given a contract from the music directors, or even by the Channel ZEETV, who i rate as the mastermind of it all Mr, GAJENDRA. A few years of growing up and nobody will recognize their face, give them a new stage name, nobody will recognise them further and give them a playback job at the soaps, advertisements or movies of the ZEETV, they are already given a highway job for life.
NO they do not care about what they did because it was not them who did it, but YOU and the Channel ZEETV.!!!!!!!

Even Shaan's _expression was so fake. If you are going to pull this off, at least you should make sure that there is some sort of element of surprise so that very very bad actors like Shaan can feign their so called real surprise and shock. Take a look at Shaans face and tell me that was of a real shock of having your 3 final contestants walk out of the show that was just about to make their life for them.

The innocence that these contestants has been very evident to all the viewers that have watched your show all along hence the obvious sometimes does not seem obvious to them.

But to a few people like me who watch just a few episodes a year, what you tried to pull off was an effort of a real amateur.

You should take lessons from Jerry Springer Show, David Letterman, Jay Leno or from the master of them all, THE OPRAH SHOW.

Its all about the RATINGS, Mr. Gajendra, and you know it. Your show is one or 2 episodes or even 4 episodes max away from the grand finale, if you can manage to pull off another stupid stunt like this so that you can keep dragging the episode and the frail indian public to hang in longer before the winner is announced and then your show will lose the spotlight to another one till the contest starts again. For these 2-3 additional weeks of additional ratings mixed with scandal and uproar is a TV Channel's dream. The money you are raking in from the already top ratings of the show was not enough for you or for the Channel ZEETV that such shoddy low down dirty and rotten tactics had to be used.

But then to keep it going so entertaining like a bad indian movie, I have to give top marks to you, but then again, i think your creative juices are once again drying up and its so sad and pathetic that you have to resort to such cheap thrills and tactics to keep your show going. Maybe you want to compete with the million indian soaps that keep on going and going and going with no end and ultimately with no story.

You risked the integrity of the show and you made a joke and a fracas of a good show that was going strong and getting the number one ratings as it is. WHY IS IT ALWAYS BY GOD THAT ITS ONLY THE INDIANS WHO ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO HAVE THE TALENT TO SCREW THINGS UP EVEN WHEN THEY ARE ON THE WINNING SIDE. 👏

I have to raise my hat to you for ruining a good show that could have gone down as a top show for well over a decade if not more. People still remember the American Soap "DALLAS" nearly 25 years after it was aired world-wide and completed. But no one will remember you.

I certainly will not.
