Sinhajee:
I was not wanting to write here because it would be too long a write up. But now since my life depends on it, I had to do so. Also, Sinhajee it is kind of you to place me in RK's Khandan. I am assuming you were kidding bcoz I am a Kapoor too..... 😉 😉

Artists, especially, music writers, directors and singers have been very sensitive people. Very moody. Very hard to work with. I remember from very early days when Anand Bakshi would be over for drinks (and he was not even known writer then), he would be very sensitive and leave at first argument that occurred. I sat and heard him do shairi until he would just abruptly leave.

There have been times when singers have said "Aaj cancel – mood nahin ban raha hai". So emotions, egoes, etc. play a very big role in their lives – too little self discipline. I guess it goes with the territory. ID portrayed just that recently. I was not surprised at all. Been there, seen it a million times. If you were in Latajee's shoes, with all the fame, fan following, it would be hard to control your ego too.

The best I remember RK had no rift with Latajee. RK knew very well what I wrote above. so he was overly tuned to making sure his artistes were happy and he would please them always. In fact, Satyam Shivam Sundaram was made by RK as a tribute to Latajee. Great voice and yet not so great looker!!

SO that would be the briefest answer I can give. No wonder I became an Engineer – no artist giri here.

Did Lata have a clash with Mukesh, Paving Mannada's entry into RK Films?

It seems even the super talented ROshan was a victim of dirty politics 😭 i think he is one of the best Mds with BArsat ki Raat, Chitralekha, Taj Mahal.... He was too modest and too good for this cut throat competition.

NO !! RK loved Mukesh very much. He thought Mukesh came closest to his voice and sang very well. RK loved Mukesh very much to let anyone affect that.

I bet you any money, even Nihira (who I like so very much), five years from now, will be no different from all that has been decribed here. I call it the nature of the beast. You have bring different moods on to sing in that mood or you will not come thru good and then you do a lot of that and you bacome moody and then people say you amoody, sensitive, egotistic. It just genuinely goes with the teritory guys. I have yet to find a filmy guy who is not moody or egotistic and I have seen so many of them....

Even now Lataji is an integral part of some of the big banner production houses. Is it because she is a legend, a lucky mascot for the banners, the respect she commands from or otherwise?
Do you think her voice suits the current actresses?

Daybreak,
Give me a break, 😉 We are not questioning Lataji's talent or success. She is Sararwati herself. She is everywhere you say bcz simply put she is flawless and the best. She knows it too, so she can act like this.
