Chapter-2

Abhay is driving to the bar for a few drinks.

He's thinking: 'what hell is going on. I can't believe I'm married to that Surbhi….oh how she is gonna regret marrying me.' His eyes flared up in anger just thinking about her. He enters the parkinglot and dangerously swerves his car in a parking spot. He walks into the bar and spots his friend Ajay. Abhay sits next to him and tells the bartender to get him a whiskey on the rocks.

Ajay: whats up man? Enjoying life?
Abhay: kya kaak enjoy kar raha hoon….uss Surbhi ne to meri zindigi barbaad kardi.
Ajay: I still can't believe you married her….i always thought you would marry a sexy girl, but you ended up with a girl who reminds me of art films. Aacha ek baat baata….tum dono kya ek hi bed pe so ge….bechari Surbhi…usse kya paata ke humare Abhay bed par ladkiyo ke saath kya kya karta hai.

Ajay laughs when Abhay playfully punches his arm.
Ajay: ok ok I'm sorry, ab yeh baata ke tu Surbhi ke saath kya karne waala hai.
Abhay: usse to mein itni duk doonga ke woh khud mujhe chor kar chali jaye gi. Woh nahi jaanthi ke mein kaun hoon.
Abhay looks at Ajay and gives him an evil smirk.

Back at the in Abhay and Surbhi's room.

Surbhi is still crying when she hears a knock on the door. She quickly wipes her tears and goes and opens the door. It is none other than Pari.

Pari: hi Surbhi I just came to check if you are comfortable.
Surbhi smiles: I'm fine thanks, just a little tired.
Pari notices that Surbhi's eyes are red from crying.
Pari: I can tell how fine you are….what did Abhay do?
Surbhi: woh…kuch nahi..i'm just….i'm just missing home.
Pari walks in the room and makes Surbhi sit down.

Pari: dekho Surbhi….i know on what conditions you and Abhay got married. I also know Abhay very well since I'm his childhood friend. But let me tell you something….Abhay is a very stubborn man….he may seem rude on top but he is a nice guy at heart. You need to have patience with him and sooner or later he'll accept you. Plus I am always here to help you.

Surbhi smiles: I have a feeling that we'll be great friends….tum bohut achi ho.
Pari: who to mein hoon. (They both laugh.) ok go to sleep now and I'll see you tomorrow. Good night.
Pari leaves the room thinking:'mujhe iss bare mein Abhay se baat karni hogi'

Abhay was driving back home when a thought suddenly came to his mind: 'how am I going to sleep in the same bed as Surbhi?' that thought made him very uncomfortable as he entered his room. To his surprise he didn't see Surbhi sleeping on his bed, a look of confusion appeared on his handsome face. He walked further in to the room when he spotted her sleeping on the floor. Without realizing it Abhay's eyes softened at the sight. But that look disappeared just as suddenly as it had appeared. He quickly changed into his night clothes and went to bed planning on how to get Surbhi out of his room, this house, and his life.
