Part 25

While on the way to Sonia and Sumeet's house...Ashi and Yuvi were quiet, and were avoiding talking to each other. About halfway through the drive, Ashi broke the silence.

Ashi "Yuvi mein tumhe kuch poochu, kya tum mujhe sach bataoge?"

Yuvi wondering what she wanted to ask him caually replied "sure kya baat hai"

Ashi "Yuvi...tum"

Yuvi "Hesitate kyun kar rahi ho, jaldi se keh do"

Ashi "Yuvi...you're failing aur tum uss baare mein kuch nahi karte....why are you failing?"

Yuvi got angry that this was what she wanted to ask him and became rude to her "Wacko tum dusron ki zindagi mein interfere karna kyun karti ho...who are you to interfere in my business."

Ashi was now hurt and angry "Psycho! mujhe koi interest nahi hai. Mein nahi chahti ke Remix tumhare wajese kuch problems aaye"

They kept arguing the rest of the way to the house. When they reached there Sonia and Sumeet were asleep and surpirised to see Ashi and Yuvi there so late at night. They also noticed that Ashi and Yuvi were glaring at each other in anger.

Sonia worried "Arrey mummum, Yuvi tum dono itni raat ko yahaan kaise"

Sumeet "haan" noticing Yuvi's bruise "yuvi, yeh tumhe kya ho gaya, yeh chot kaise-

Sonia then noticed Ashi's hand was wrapped and shrieked "Mummum! Shona tum theek toh ho na" grabbing Ashi's hand and holding it up "yeh tumhare haath...ko kya hua...jaldi tumhare room mein jao, mein doctor ko phone karti hoon"

Sumeet went with Sonia to call the doctor.

Meanwhile...Ashi and Yuvi were going to their rooms. (Ashi to her own room, and Yuvi to the room that he, Sid,and Ranveer share when they come over. Their room and Ashi's room are across the hall from one another, Tia's room is next to Ashi's room)

Ashi once again asked Yuvi to tell her why he wasn't paying attention to his grades.

Yuvi now yelled to Ashi "Wacko kya tum yeh sunna chahti ho ke I'm failing kyun ki mein bilkul akela hoon, pehle mom chali gayi, phir tum mere dad ke saath baat kar rahi thi....aur tum mujhe chhod ke gayi...mein kya karon, I love you lekin tujhe mere baare mein koi fikar hi nahi hai...tujhe iss baare mein baat karna bekar hai!" saying this, he left in a huff to his room with tears coming down his eyes.

Ashi was shocked at what she just heard.....she quietly went to her room.

Ashi couldn't stop thinking about what Yuvi had said to her... 'I love you lekin tujhe mere baare mein koi fikar hi nahi hai...tujhe iss baare mein baat karna bekar hai' 'Sab meri galti hai....Yuvi is failing...becasue of me....lekin uss Psycho ne kaha ke mujhse baatein karna bekaar hai......Yuvi ne kaha I LOVE YOU....Yuvi ko kaise pata chala ke main uske dad se baat kar rahi thi' Ashi was confused and lost in her thoughts of Yuvi, when Sonia and Sumeet came in with the doctor. Ashi didn't want anyone to know that she had talked to Yuvi's dad.....and what happened while they talked.

The doctor fixed Ashi's hand and said "Apna khayal rakhna, koi stress mat lena, yeh medicines lena bohat zaroori hai, mera assistnat kal yeh medicines drop karega...aur ek aur baat, tum apna haath 2 weeks ke liya nahi use kar sakti warna phirse blood-loss ho sakta hai...and you've already lost lots of blood."

The doctor then turned to Sumeet "Mr.Ahuja, tumne yeh kaha ke ek dusra patient bhi hai"

Sumeet "Haan, Yuvi, chalo mere saath"

They left for Yuvi's room.While Sonia was with Ashi and kept irritating her about what happened.

Ashi finally fed up with it "Mumma....woh Aditya...aur Sam"

Those two names in the same sentence hit Sonia like a frieght train Aditya and Sam together coming back into Ashi's life. Sonia didn't know what to say, so she just left the room...she needed to think about this..and find out from Soham what happened tonight.

Meanwhile....

The doctor had given some medicines for Yuvi, and he had left, reminding Sumeet to make sure that Ashi doesn't use her hand, and to make sure that she takes the medicine. He also addes that Ashi could not have any fried and sweet foods while she takes the medicine.

While all that was happening...at Maurya

Everyone was sitting together trying to figure out what had happened and why Ashi and Yuvi were hurt....

Then they noticed that Soham and Purvi had finally reached MAurya after dropping Sam and Aditya off at thier house....

Tia and Ranveer felt that they should ask now what was going on wiht Ashi and Sam, since they noticed that she acted wierd around him.

Purvi and Soham had decided that this was a great a time as any to ask why everyone hater Aditya so much, and what had he done to Ashi.

Tia and Purvi both opened thier mouths to talk at the same time, noticed it and waited for the other to start talking.

Tia finally talked "Tia ek baat poochna chahti hai...."

Soham "haan Tia poocho"

Tia was nervous on how to ask them, so Ranveer asked "Banaa hum sab jaana chahte hai ke Ashi aur Sam ke beech kya hai, ya tha...hum yeh notice kar rahe hai-" Tia cut him off and said "haan, Tia aur baaki sab notice kar rahe hai ke Ashi Sam ke saamne bohat uneasy feel karti hai, aur Tia ne yeh bhi dekha ke Ashi uske saamne bhi nahi rehna chahti"

Soham and Purvi looked at each other uneasily, trying to decide if they should tell everyone or not....they knew that Ashi wouldn't like it...

Purvi "Ok, we'll tell you guys, lekin tum sab ne humko yeh bataana hoga ke tum sab Aditya se kyun hate karte ho....aur usne Anvesha ke saath kya kiya."

Tia was now worried because Ashi had told her not to let them know about her and Yuvi, and if they told Soham and Purvi about Aditya, they'ed have to start with Ashi and Yuvi's relationship.

Ranveer not knowing about what Ashi had told Tia replied "theek hai, hum aap ko batayenge, lekin aap pehle hum sab ko bataaye"

So Soham started "It all started when we were kids. Me and Ashi were best friends since we were about 2 years old. Saumil(Sam) is my brother, and he is two years older than us. When we were about ten years old, Ashi met my brother for the first time, since he was living with my dad. You see my parents had gotten divorced after I was 1 year old...I'm not sure why, but they were still good friends... Sam came because our dad had died, and my mom was very excited the day he came. Me and Ashi didn't know about him coming. We had an arguement about Purvi, you see when I first met her, I hated her, and Ashi was also her best friend. When Purvi was around, Anvesha would ignore me, so we were both at my house, and I told her to stop being friends with Purvi...Anvesha had gotten angry at me and went somewhere. Then mom introduced me to Saumil, and told me he was my brother, but I wasn't paying attention, and she saw that. She asked me what the matter was, and I told her that I couldn't find Ashi and we had a fight again...so me and mom went looking for Ashi, and Saumil went to his room and found Ashi there. He saw her and was confused. Then Ashi saw him in the room and started yelling at him, and throwing things...we heard the noise and knew that it was Ashi. When we got to the room, she and Sam were throwing things at each other, yelling at the other to get out of their room. Ashi didn't know that she was going to move to a different room. She slept over at my house often so she had her own room, and mom always saw her as a daughter. So we cleared the misunderatnding between them...Ashi was still angry, Saumil cheered her up, and I'm not sure how he did it... but he also helped her with tennis. A few months later it was the five of us always together--"

Ranveer questioningly "Banaa, paanch....lekin Tum, Purvi, Ashi, aur Sam sirf 4 hai"

Soham "haan...woh-woh" he started to get teary eyed and emotional...

Purvi emotionally "5th person hum sab ka best freind tha, he was the one who understood everyone....he always solved all of our problems...Ashi was closest to him....closer than she is to Soham and me.....Rocky...his real name was---actually only Ashi knows his real name.....we didn't even find out when he died...Ashi is still hiding it from us---He was very angry and sad that day too....he basically lived for Ashi's happiness---- Rocky died...he died about three months ago.....he was hit by some drunk driver while he was driving here. They never found his whole body the explosion probably blew it up....they only found a toe. "

Soham "Mujhe pata nahi ke woh din kya hua, lekin jab woh Ashi se baat karke aaya, toh unhone mujhe kaha ke woh Maurya mein aane wala hai...woh bohat worried aur gusse tha.....pata nahi ke Ashi ne usse kya kaha....woh mujhse baat chupati hai...lekin woh kabhi Rocky se kuch nahi chupaayi...actually...woh jo bhi kartithi...Rocky ka advice lekar karthi thi...agar Rocky ne usne kahaa no toh Ashi would forget about it."

Purvi "Soham....Sam aur Ashi ki story poora karna hai...hum phir kabhi Rocky ke baare mein batayenge."

Soham wiped his tears and restarted the story "Toh mein kahaan tha...oh haan...those days no one could separate the five of us. When we were 15, and Saumil 17, he and Ashi made a plan for him to get his girlfriend back. Since she didn't know Ashi, or how old she was.....they acted like they were dating....and actually went on a couple dates.....Saumil's girlfriend realized how much she missed him, and that she made a mistake by telling him that they should date other people, while still dating each other...so then it all went back to normal again...but Saumil and his girlfriend broke up about two months later...she had a problem against all of us, especially Anvesha. Anveshsa comforted him the most... they were both the best tennis players i've ever seen... I thought that I was in love with Ashi at the time...but I didn't know that I actually loved Purvi.....just was always worried about Ashi..but I mean she's the oldest friend I had so I would always think of her saftey first. Then one day Saumil told Ashi that he loved her, and that they should go out, and he knew she loved him too Ashi told him that she never thought he could be so cheap, and mistake that she loved him. She told him that she hated him and never wanted to see his face ever again. I was standing nearby...and heard everything....neither of them noticed me...I asked Ashi to forgive Saumil, and atleast be friends with him again..and she told me to never metion his name to her again if I want her to stay friends with me. Ashi told Rocky what had happened...and he understood her feelings....then he went and told Saumil to leave Ashi alone...and the best way for Ashi to be happy was if Sam moved... so he did.....he moved.....he still loves her....aur maine yeh socha ke agar main Anvesha aur Saumil ko wapis ek banna sakta hoon toh kitna achcha hoga"

Everyone was shocked, but not Tia...since she thought that Sam loved Ashi from the beginning. Noboday knew what to say....

Tia broke the silence when she saw what time it was, and that they had to wake up early the next day to go to home "Oh Tia's God! Tia ka beauty sleep kharab ho gaya hai...Tia thinks we all should sleep now...hum sab ne early wake up karna hai, and it is 2"

Everyone agreed and went to their rooms to sleep....they still had to pack too.

Meanwhile at the Ahuja house......

Everyone was sleeping in their respective rooms.....

A dark shadow came near Ashi's window.....A dark figure dressed in black with a black bag emerged and came through her open window. The figure made its way towards Ashi...the figure put its right hand over Ashi's mouth and gave her a signal to keep quiet. The figure led her to her closet, the to the hidden room that connected her closet to a small room that was unknown to anyone but her. The figure turned on a small light and removed the mask from its face.

Ashi was shocked at what she saw....the fear and tears in her face grew...she was about to drop onto the floor out of shock...she had fainted and the dark figure had caught her. The figure sprinkled some water on Ashi's face and she opened her eyes.....

Ashi "Tum"
