Great Take Diya. 👏

Enjoyed the episode and yes, it was about Myrah Memsaab. 😃

So she wants to see the haveli and the look on Maithili's face led her to Raja Rudra. She approaches him and suddenly drops to her knees and pleads to Raja, His Highness to please let her see the haveli. Everybody's looks were awesome. Nicely done Myrah...sarcastic but she got what she wanted.
Bechara Rudra...what is he going to do with this "ladki".

The tour highlights:
- Myrah is rich. Maithili concerned about paying too much; Myrah feels cheated and Shatabdi is happy that Myrah is rich and "just looks" like Parvati.
- Maithili questions and discovers that Myrah is there for her destination wedding. Old haveli was nicer...questions about the reason for move...left unanswered.
- Samrat seeking his wallet. Myrah's tirade about "Indian" men and their dependence on their wives including her dad; stops to apologize and takes their photo. Both accept her apology. Neutral and gentle they wonder about Myrah and "kismet". 👍🏼
- Kakusa - Caring and concerned about Rudra and Dhruv. Just like him. 👍🏼
- Mohini looking a mess and wants Danveer to get rid of the "ghost". If not a ghost then why is she here, with Maithili and being so sweet to Dhruv. Good questions KCM.
- Shatabdi - Time to Kiss Ass and make friends with the rich girl. Myrah is no less, compliments work wonders on Shatabdi and request for a selfie turns her possessive of Sumer. Guess she found something in Sumer afterall!! 😆
- Sumer - From Tractor to Treadmill. 😆
- Shatabdi and Myrah - How to address family members leads to Mohini becoming a "crazy old servant" who calls her "Beendini". And and she also "bites". Loved it as it was done when they both saw Maithili...it was for her. 🤣
- Dilsher & Mala portrait...Former King and Queen of the villa...really?? I want to know more about their death.
- Rudra's room - whew stopped just in time. He moved to a different room. She apologized calmly.
- Masala Chai - led to Maithili being called Jeeja with a beautiful smile, Rudra and Maithili taken aback...can't blame them..that's what their Paro used to say. First sip, cough, choke..."look up pagal"...caring Rudra, but wait she is fine...relax...it's just tea!! Both Rudra and Maithili sad about their Paro...their eyes full of longing and sadness. 😔
- Dupatta - Excited Myrah and "broken" Rudra...melancholy moment. 😔

- Authentic Rajasthani Haveli and the people of the Haveli including the servants - Myrah likes them and wants to stay in the haveli. 😃
Mohini - No... DK 2 cannot stay there and its's their home. Myrah understands and is willing to pay for her stay. She states an amount...silence...raises the amount...you could see Mohini torn between money and ghost, Sumer Shatabdi salivating, the others quiet. First to check her in...Sumer...of course...he is probably thinking of his own Mahal . 😆

Oh but wait...Raja Rudra Ranawat has the final say...his house, his rules, his say, it's not a hotel, she can't stay...OUT!! Mohini is happy, but it's for herself not Rudra.
The portrait...they are his mother and father...he said it with pride...she apologized very nicely. She explains her worldly travels but this place is special and has positive vibes.
I liked Myrah's "Don't be angry, chill and think about it".
Rudra throws her out just like he did Paro.
Paro cajoled with love and Rudra after all was her Rakshak and he could not see her in pain.
Myrah, however is no pushover...how dare he throw her out and close the door on her face...she is going to show him. Loved her reaction...where is the crowd, not a single fly, desert without a camel...awesome. She finds a rock in her anger drops it on her foot...the whole scene was superb!! 👏

No tree pose or gentle tending by Rudra , but we did get a foot raise and a quick massage by Myrah herself!! She can take care of herself...she will show them all!!

Parvati had no last name. Was she a child "found" and taken in?
Myrah has a last name...Mehra and a very affluent family.

Rudra's Paro was Parvati to the rest of the Ranawats.
It was a while before he called her by her name and initially she did not allow him to call her Paro...he said it to annoy her and then Paro was his and his alone. She taught him to live.

Meri Paro ...My Paro...my life.

How will Rudra say Myrah?

My Rah...my path.

This is all Deja vu...full circle...two women, same yet different, two different environments and two different approaches. One better than the other???

Shweta, As always...great collages and quotes.

Minnu and Tennessean...great posts.

I still have to read the others.

Dear Sagi, Lovely post. please hold on. The magic will be back. The RR team has to survive. Though Paro's presence was missed in every episode for the past one week. I have to admit that RR has all elements now for TRP. It has increased a bit, it seems. So let's hope they get what they deserve in the coming days. If all goes well, we will get magic back.

Well, lovely recap, such finesse, truly a wonderful read. You do not miss a single point.
The best part is you blend the character analysis/sketch and it makes it more intriguing.

@Shwetha

Please do skip the collages if you are too busy, I am sure baisas wouldn't mind waiting a day or two😳

@T

The first time I caught a episode on TV and all I could think of you taking cute notes, and analzing the moments. Your acrostic are simply uubeatable. The moments you mention, each and every one of them, one can only read, enjoy, whilst at the loss of words.

@Hope

👏, You are nailing it with the regular updates! It is always a pleasure to read what you have to share, nothing much to add there.

Well, I do think it would be unfair, without sharing a few thoughts and LOTS of words. Sorry about the usual ramblings. Hope you get to sit back and enjoy a read this time!

Only think I would like to add is Rudra's behavior. If they make him fall for Myrah first, it would be character assassination. RR does love reversing roles, and this might just give them a opportunity. Myrah = Paro, she doesn't know the same and he does, he tries to help her regain her past etc.. I wish this is not the track that happens, I would like Myrah to self-discover herself, while Rudra transforming back to Major Saab.

The chai-scene is acceptable, in the current scenario, given he was lost in the moment that she might be Paro, but she was 😎 enough to brush it off and asked him to relax. I was wondering, how is it that Mythili did not take the imitative and Rudra had to jump in with the classic dialogue😉! I would have loved to see a flashback, maybe the green-bandhni wala kurta scene😆

Dupatta scene - Well, it was nice to see a tourist admire something "Indian" and adorn it, and Rudra is reminded of his dulhan. Nicely done. The scene had an intensity and she was chill and it scared the hell out of him.

Jeeja calling - Well, it was expected that after learning a term or two, you tend to use the language to impress them, the local people, and she being a tourist had fun, while making both Rudra and Mythili not only nostalgic, but shocking them. How is it that focus on the Ranawats and their reactions, it would be nice to have Myrah notice that she was freaking them out, by being normal. 😆 Guess, we have to wait and watch.

Selfie obsession - The Sumer-Shatapdi scene was quite a decent attempt by the trio, alas we did not get to see the brand of phone Ms Mehra was advertising!😆
All the actors looked natural and share a good rapport.
Myrah complimenting Shatapdi and Sumer's reaction - Bang on! He does have a sense of humor, and I am sure would bond well with their guest. This time Mohini would ask him to stay back and not click pictures of her instead! The last time, Sumer lost his phone whilst Paro got her embroidery done😆 If Rudra was anywhere nearby, this time it would have been Myrah phone that would have been damaged.😆

Samrat, Mohini, Myrah scene - Is there somebody she hasn't introduced herself too? Oh yes, Aman! Well, lets see how the Haveli and Chacha ji's threat plays out, who know a retired Major might just get promoted, back in his BSD uniform, with a different set of medals.
Okay baack to the scene, Samrat seems to have improved as a character, he did get the decent screen space with the Shatapdi track. He is a normal husband, late for work, on the hunt for his wallet and Mythili, being the detective is abt to go ahead, while Myrah is reminded of her Mummy Papa! She talks, and loves to, so a no-reaction, silent Samrat is the trick that makes her quiet. She automatically starts apologizing, and well, even then Samrat was in a trance, as in, she is the same one who saved me from Shatpadi! 😆

Danveer and Mohini - Danveer looked pretty upset, having he was the one to have saved Paro from shooting herself when she was in custody and he was a huge shipper of PaRud. He is busy in his world and Mohini in her's. She is not living in reality, bhoot hain ji aas paas!😆
They said there was a leap - Itna bada ki, a once vamp, khule aam practising murder, meeting desh drohi's was now sweating at the mention of a look-alike! #SuchisLife😆
I think this time too, she would try her best to get rid of Myrah, while she enters the Haveli, but her plans will not be devious, instead comical. She would have Koel to give her company.

Mythili, Myrah - They bond well. Why? Mythili is welcoming and is wise. She knows where to draw the line, keeping in mind Dhruv and Rudra's feelings. She follows "Mehman bhagwaan ke roop hote hain" and "Yeh kismat ka khel hai" and is going with the flow of things.
Why? She knows deep deep down that Myrah is Paro, she can see the references and if things move drastically in RR 2.0, we get to see a shaadi - I think she would make a Devar ji sa understand that Myrah = Paro. She is the fandom, Watson, like we address her, she would draw the connections, faster than Major Saab.

Myrah requesting to stay - She loves the place, she is willing to pay and wants to have a vacation of a lifetime and the Ranawats - 😲 ! They wouldn't like to see their bheendi 2.0 in western outfits, roaming and not serving chai every 2-3 hrs. 😆 So yes, she is yet to reveal she has a Shaadi, not function aka is the Dulhan 2.0, and Rudra agar Chai, Dupatte se Paro ki yaad mein kho jaayenge, then aane wale episodes are going to be a treat - So many PaRud flashbacks!

I liked the scene overall, some highlights.

1. Sumer, Shatapdi and Mohini's reactions while she kept increasing the tariff rates and they were very much decent and realistic. Haveli hai, she has money, why not have a lavish vacation and flaunt Mr Mehra's money. They love money and I can see are stuck with the new house, far far away from their Chandangarh wali haveli, not because of family, but financial stability. Rudra provides the same for his, now loved ones and they would in no time hand over the ghar ke kagaz to Mr Mehra, if things were to escalate. They would get the cash and would return and well..
Myrah would be on her way to sasural.. Umm.. Paro ji sorry!
Sorry sorry, I was to talk abt the interactions in the scene - Their faces lit up and I was reminded of the scene where Rudra asks Paro to marry Sumer for his maafi and Sumer agreed, jhat se.
Here too, he was the first one to make the deal pacca, get the saaman ji. He did not listen to his elders then ya abhi. 😆

2. Mohini and Rudra on the same page - So a bhoot is what it takes for this Kaki sa and bhanja to share a moment! 😳 She looked at Sumer and was loving the thought of cash flow, then looked at Rudra and was reminded of reality. She was swinging to and fro and ultimately thanked Bholenath for having Mala leave behind a bhanja who was rational enough to make the right choice.

3. Myrah - Rudra - They were good. He was the head and decided things single-handedly even though he is a part of a joint family, with Danveer standing behind him. He did that to not only protect himself, but Dhruv too. He wouldn't want to see his son's heart break, given he understood she appealed to the boy and would soon make a place in his heart. He is right, from his point of view. She is disturbed, oblivious to the past of the Ranawats, and as a Ms Mehra, NRI not getting what she needs, a good vacation at the choice of her stay, she is bound to use the political card. I would love to see her Papa, Rudra's Sasur sa talk on the phone for once!

Myrah out of the Ranawats Haveli 2.0 - Wah wah! They had to show a suited Rudra throw out his potential client (as in he is assigned duty to protect her) whilst rubbing it our faces of very significant moment in the past! I am 100% Rudra would see a flashback of the same, today when the episode starts. Chacha ji's phone call would interrupt, unlike a normal Aman!😆

If the scenes were to be compared, Rudra felt guilty the first time, wore the same blue kurta which Paro once wore, and came out to check to see if she was alright.. Over here, when the brick fell on Myrah, I thought she would scream with pain, and Rudra would come running along etc..
This might happen today, who knows. CVs love taking romance real "slow"!😆😆
To be honest, no I thought for a second that Myrah was about to throw the brick at his window and then run😆
Sanaya was good, it felt more like a Sanaya scene rather than a Myrah scene. She is natural, when it comes to comic timing, nothing forced. A nice feel good situation, dialogues were witty, for a change, not gisse-pitte.
I did not get the precap abt the house not being his, so wouldn't add anything further.

Thanks for posting and leaving your sweet comments... I don't think CV's will do that.. Rudra falling for Myrah first will happen if only he is 100% sure that she is Paro... It will not be easy to convince him of that as Paro left her last breath in his hands according to him.. But at the same time.. I don't know how I would feel by seeing Myrah run after Rudra just like Paro did.. That would be almost like the repetition of story we already saw.. Let us see how CV's will play it out.. I am sure they will make it interesting.. But only if they don't get on their Jet pace mode..

Very well written.. Enjoyed reading it.. Thanks again for posting.. The chai scene was very touching.. We could feels Rudra in those few seconds.. But what made such strong scene a bit light hearted was Myrah's calm reaction to it. Bechara Rudra looked so lost.. I feel so sorry for him..

Finally, today we came to know the weak point of Kakisa.. She was sooo immersed in her Bhoot logic that what ever Kakisa was telling him didn't reach her ears at all.. Also for all the money Myrah was ready to offer.. She couldn't get Mohini to change her Bhoot story.. 😆

For a second even I felt that Rudra would come running to Myrah, when she cried in pain.. But he didn't.. Which was good.. And when she tried to throw the huge brick.. Even I for a second thought that she would break his window or door and make a run for it.. She is really capable of such actions😛

I want CV's to take romance realllyyy slow.. As I myself am still not ready to give Myrah and Rudra a chance.. Paro is etched in my mind with Rudra.. To replace her with someone, even though her lookalike will be tough..

Sanaya has amazing comic timing and that is helping Myrah's character to shine.. SanIsh are doing fantastic job.. It is a treat watching them onscreen.😊

I am so happy the TRP's have increased. Sanish deserve it. Especially sanaya who had just one day to transform from Myrah to Paro and Ashish for portraying Rudra the widower to perfection.
But I dunno how the CV's will take it forward now. We all know the story will shape up based on TRP's. And CV's are are executing the story in such a way so that they could swing onto any side based on ratings.
But i still cant accept Myrah Rudra guys. Myrah is a very nice character and Sanaya portraying it gives all the reasons for us to love Myrah but Rudra Myrah in a romantic angle is a big no for me. I dont think I can even accept it in the long run esp after the recent hints dropped in the episodes and Parud of course. I am confused totally.
Sorry if I ranted nonsense. 😕
Just had to let it go and thought of sharing it with u guys🤗

Amen to the increase without any support from the broadcaster...👍🏼

Hope the abandonment by Colors ends and we get a dhaasu promo this week...

Hi 5 girls!! (Myrah style ) 😆

I am yet to read the takes and have been MIA since 2 days.

I have been watching the episodes since Monday with dual emotions, laughter - a constant smile on my face and despair, an ache in my heart.
I was sucker punched on Tuesday by the dawning realization that Paro may be back but the Paro as I know her, I have lost her. Just like Rudra has lost her, I lost her all over again!!

What brought this feeling was the change in Mohini. I remembered the first time I saw her. She had presence, a presence to stand in front of Rudra unthwarted. Her plans may not have worked, but she had that aura.. Now the Mohini I see is just a caricature of the original. What brought this change? Like Paro, she too has changed. Ananya has amazing comic timings but I will miss her spicy one liners - there are so many - e.g. I am crying, they are on the way (She tells Paro) or the way she mimics Sumer and talks about the 3 of bhoots hanging around her neck. She did have some classic lines!

Today when I see RR, I see what I see in multitude of other serials, urban set up, funny ML or FL, comical side characters and man in suit! And thats when it hit me, the essence of RR has changed irrevocably that even a resurrection of Paro wont bring back

I would like to thank the CVs for giving us an amazing 150 episodes. I know u struggled, I know u missed many a times. But you are the people who gave me Parud, so sab galti maaf!!
Many people did not , wont get Paro. Because she was meant to be that way. Let me tell you, it takes a woman of strength to heal the way she did.

I read these lines in a book today and thought about Rudra - Though he was a mere mortal, flawed as well, he'd accomplished a daring feat. Aye, he'd captured an angel. And she belonged only to him.

I want to tell you, your vision may not have been accepted by the conventional audience but u created a masterpiece which would be difficult even for you to recreate and for u sake I hope you do create magic again!

I loved RR for its rustic charm and an unconventional hero and heroine and I know I will move on but u have captured a piece of my heart !! Thank you for letting me into the magic, the magic of love, hope and belief!!

One day you meet someone and for some inexplicable reason, you feel more connected to this stranger than anyone else--closer to them than your closest family. Perhaps this person carries within them an angel--one sent to you for some higher purpose; to teach you an important lesson or to keep you safe during a perilous time. What you must do is trust in them--even if they come hand in hand with pain or suffering--the reason for their presence will become clear in due time."

Though here is a word of warning--you may grow to love this person but remember they are not yours to keep. Their purpose isn't to save you but to show you how to save yourself. And once this is fulfilled; the halo lifts and the angel leaves their body as the person exits your life. They will be a stranger to you once more. -Lang Leav, Love & Misadventure

And RR 1 has been exactly this way for me.

I did not want to come on the forum or the thread because I did not want to transfer my dark cloud anywhere here!! And look at my luck, I was unable to log into IF due to real world, internet and IF issues!! But since I am still in the bubble that Rudra blew and unable to break free and enjoy the new episodes, I just wanted to write down my feelings and get some TLC 😳😆

I am happy for the way RR 2.0 is shaping up. Its a laughter riot and Mohini, Shatabdi give a nice balance along Myrah's antics!! her "what the hell" reminded me of ASR 😆 but was cutely said unlike him. And her 'just like that' 😆
Sanaya is an amazing actor and there are loop holes in this story too. But I will ignore the hit on characterization as they want the story to move forward.

P.S: I will continue to watch the episodes and will come over to read ur amazing analysis but may not contribute as I am still a tad bit lost somewhere in the 7 years that RR took a leap towards. I feel like I am in trishanku swarga (Trishanku has come to denote a middleground or limbo between one's goals or desires and one's current state or possessions.)

Sagi, what a wonderful, wonderful post... Beautiful.. I totally agree.. What we had at the beginning of RR was magic... We will never get that again... No one can create the same magic.. Like you said, not even the CV's them selves.. How good, bad, slow, fast, sweet, bitter the ride of RR was.. It was magical through out.. PaRud were magical.. Like you pointed out, Rudra and Paro character's were magical.. The whole story and character sketches are out of the box, New, refreshing and beautiful.. I truly wish even today that it would have been so wonderful if we got to see the original story that they planned for us. I wish the confidence they had on the story at the beginning of the show stayed that way and that they didn't try throwing in all the twists walking away from the original story to grab eyeballs.. But nothing can be done now..

RR now is just any other show on TV with its own little touch to it.. That is why watch it as RR 2.0.. Like a different show.. Comparing or expecting it to be RR will only lead to disappointment.. We will never get that back.. It is lost along with Paro... Now I don't think even Paro would be able to bring it back. There is this dialogue in "Once Upon a Time"... 'Magic always comes with a price...' We got to watch PaRud magic for 150 episodes for which we paid the price with our broken hearts... And I say it was all worth it.. I wouldn't miss them for anything..

When there are dark clouds lurking around.. That should give you all the more reason to come and express your feelings.. It will surely make you feel better.. Remember we are all in the same boat.. Ok, not all but most of us.. We are just trying a little harder than you to see the bright side of it.. Don't think that will only make your feelings worse.. Just enjoy the ride and keep posting your awesome posts.. 👍🏼

Between Loved the quotes you wrote.. Beautiful. ❤️

It is 2:00 a.m here and I am already brain dead a while back😛... But just couldn't go to bed without replying to you. Looks like I typed a lot.. Sorry if there is something silly in all that crazy scribbles.. All I want to say is, don't feel sad.. We are all with you, sharing the same feelings.. 😃

I will let these Emos do the talking because I am not that adept with words...😊 I hope that I am able to convey my feelings through them..

One thing that I would like to point..This quote in red...
I had read it just about a few days back around the same time as that infamous epi was aired...and all I could think of was Rudra...each word fit in so perfectly...it is a beautiful quote...
I did not post it then because I felt I should clutch the thread of hope and faith tight till the end...one never knows..

I know they have deviated and drifted to a far off land much to people's disappointment, shock, trauma and a whole myriad of feelings that I can't even describe but just like in the show, this too is DESTINY...RR ka bhagya...nobody can change this Fate written by Him- the one who dwells in the seventh heaven..
Try accepting it looking at it in this fashion...might just help u come to terms with things...😊

Have one doubt. Maybe one of you can help me out. If a show has company ads (like nestle, micromax) during the breaks as compared to other serial promos - does it mean that these companies are ready to pay so the serial is very popular ? Or it means the channel gives away the timeslots to companies at cheap rate because they feel advertising other serials is not worth it ?
