Her name is Kashish.. or KD.. Whichever you want. She writes too waise! :P

And your comment has made me all giggly. Imma gonna give you a sloppy kiss Baisa. Please accept! 😆

Also, no. I haven't read Sweet Evil. Why?

I am in for a sloppy kiss😆😆 And yes I have read Kashish's work. You two are amazing writers and glad I am reading your stuff on this forum😳
I mentioned sweet evil because they had something similar about colours and emotions which I liked but they went unexplored of course, Dont worry, its just another YA books, fantasy types, but with that color emotion twist,

Yes of course you may know my name. I am Nidhi and you??😳😳

Just saw your next update and needless to say that was beautiful!! I loved the flow , the comparison.
Loved how he compares her to the serene and clam sky, dreams about it and refuses to believe that she exists. Almost lyrical.
You must be really working hard Baisa coming up with these. If this is how the series will unfold then I am not leaving you anywhere through it😆

Hope my comments do justice to your work. Just know that you write beautifully😊

green is synonymous with lailas... her envy jealousy etc etc... but blue for Rudra... i never though... loved the analogy of a mirage and blue and paro...

The blue of the water...of fleeting mirages...that never last...
Your creativity and imagination is fantastic!!

Love how you compared her to water, to quench his unbearable thirst...
Yet, he cant believe that he would be so lucky as to have her in his life...and puts it all down to a trick of his mind...

And i absolutely agree with KD, you are the queen of last liners...
This one was also ended brilliantly...

Me quoting shayari n all for you now...completely random though...

Pani Se Pyaas Na Bujhi,
Toh Maikhane Ki taraf Chal Nikla,
Socha Shikayat Karun Teri Khudha Se,
Par Khudha bhi Tera Ashiq Nikla...

Anky... just read both color drabbles and wow!!!
👏
Rudras lack of self worth and hence his doubt's regarding paros love was so beautifully brought out by the imagery of the blue water and the mirage!

He is scared to get closer because if it is a mirage it will disappear as he gets closer leaving him alone in the scorching desert again!

And blue is a lovely color for rudra as it also symbolizes the calm paro has brought into his life!

You write amazingly well and I loved reading this!

LOVED this! 😃

I've always loved the comparison of parched desert and soothing rain when it comes to our Paro and Rudra and now i'm in love with this drabble.

A thirsty weary traveler, trudging through the endless sand dunes, mocked by the unforgiving desert every single time he falls for the mirage, the elusive promise of relief. But no more! No more... The desert has laughed long enough at his expense. He finally rises from the sand, the lesson has sunk in, his heart is steeled, he will not fall for it again..

What then will he do when the promised relief is so close at hand. So real?

You made me feel that breathless second of suspended disbelief when one hovers between shunning what is apparently real and reaching out to touch it just the same for reassurance.. just to make sure.. what if the desert wasn't playing tricks this time?

Loved it.. bas..

EDIT:

ok..first things first..the idea of having the mirage/water to represent blue...ah--mmazing...!!..Brilliant comparison..👏

mirage = Paro fits in from Rudra's P.O.V..because tender feelings of love and care that shows him are completely alien to him..and that makes it too hard for him to believe that she exists..

loved this one...😊

Thank you Aish!

Exactly. Rudra is perennially afraid of the happiness Paro can provide and one cannot blame him. I just wanted that to come out in this one.

As we always say, If its too good to be true, it probably is. That's the case we the poor guy.
