Even I felt that scene was totally OTT! Was there a need for that scene? I mean I know you have lost your son but lady he was a soldier! He sacrificed his life for his country! As u pointed out why the hell did she allow him to join the army after all! Giving baddua n all!
@ last line 🤣 somebody will have to tweet Ashish again.

And the whole, I made his favorite daal for lunch because he was going to battle was so confusing to me! Usually army soldiers live with their battalion (or unit) and not at home with their parents! Way to go be realistic CVs 🤔

🤣 and yes! we totally need to tweet him again! I think we need to elect an official forum twitter-er who can ask him all of our (in)appropriate questions 😉

PS: love your signature 🤣

Absolutely agree with you PD! Like how can a mother who just lost her soldier son, ask another soldier why he didn't die and take the bullet destined for her son?! I felt her behavior totally undermined her son's sacrifice for his country :/

They should have read that BSD contract upon enlistment, or even watched Border or some other patriotic movie about the armed forces to figure out what the job entails!!!

Remaind me bout SJ's phatphatiya.. He joined the BSD for the holiday perks, canteen food and retirement benefits. he didn't know it could kill him!! Lollzzz!!!😆😆😆

I have always seen that Mother of s soldier is usually proud of her son's martyrdom
Don't know what kind of lady was she 😡.Why did she allowed his son to become a soldier if she was unable to tolerate his martyrdom? 😵

Ok read!! 😆 Gunia i totally agree i am actually kinda pissed off too! cz it was offensive to the mothers of soldiers who proudly claim that they gave a son to the country!!

lol anywya they did it so that Rudra will go all hanky panky instead being the macho hero he was throughout otherwise n we will feel sorry for him too! n also to make him mad enough to take all of it out on Paro!!

Mother crying is totally ok! But blaming his senior officer for allowing her son to do the job he signed up for? very bad!! 😕

so yah it was way OTT! i wish that sequence could have been given a miss!!

YAY! I'm oddly excited to be totally gushing with you all 😆
Anyways, I agree that something like this was required to make him break down, but the scene was just too much. They could have done it a lot more tastefully I think... but I guess my main issue stemmed from the fact that it stretched so long and was so overdramatized 😆 oh well, I guess it was worth it to see him totally be sensitive and the mirror image of paro! I really liked the symbolism of that scene!

SJ is too good! I guess she hit the nail on the head with his reasons for enlisting 😆
