Some of the audience's disappointment abt Natasha could be because they feel that she doesn't understand the destiny part. Shan's daadi is the voice of destiny or samay... she kept saying 'we have to accept Khanak because she is Shaan's wife'... accept what comes is the age-old way of dealing with life... Natasha, and to some extent Shaan, reflect the other end of it- we will make our own destiny! The story then becomes, whose point will win... and going by Indian TV shows, destiny always wins😆
I agree there Gaayu. I do believe in destiny myself , but wouldnt blindly use it as a reason for my actions... it has its importance , but then we are who decide our acts and with our acts we can define how our lives will shape up... if we arent the ones who defined our destiny, who are we to even change it?
I like the way Shaan and Natasha represent the new age thinking, but again... what I liked and actually appreciate about the stand this show takes is that it says we are responsible for our actions...and our choices make us who we are... Shaantanu when he decided to stand by her and help the family of late suraj and Khanak for saving the life of a man... it also shows just because fate throws a challenge at you, you dont jus just sit and wallow in te injustice of it all but fight and carve a path to stand up and walk again... I love that...
Just as our destiny has a role, so do our choices!
Anyway , TV shows will show destiny is the supremo power... LOl... so yeah spoton ther.e.. but well I had to blab what I felt... sorry yaar... I keep rambling too much,... but such interesting topics and I can't keep quiet... I hope just nobody starts throwing tamatar!! LOL... ki Sareetaa bas!!! 😆
