Part 5

Yudi had his back turned to her and was talking to Saksham over the phone… Yudi had seen Rani coming and as she neared… amidst his conversation with Saksham… he started talking loudly…. " Oh sweet-heart… I missed you so much…!!" Saksham was confused and wondered what was Yudi upto… Rani's eyes turned red with jealousy and wondered it had been only a week… and Yudi had found someone so soon to replace her… she was cursing her foolishness for leaving the party abruptly that day… she felt jealous and wondered with whom Yudi was talking to… Yudi felt satisfied at the expressions Rani was giving…he continued… " You know how much I love you… I'll meet you this coming Monday…" …Saksham understood soon…. And asked "Is bhabhi near?"… Yudi replied … "Yes…"… Saksham replied mischieviously .. " I promise to be your sweet-heart for the time-being honey.."… Yudi laughed at his reply… later excused himself and ended the call….

He kept a straight face and composed himself… as he should not let Rani know that he knew she was standing behind… he turned and was almost going to collide with Rani when Rani caught his shirt… Yudi took her hands off him… and said " Ahh Miss Raane… you have come… let's proceed or we'll get late for the appointment… Rani expected Yudi to open the door for her but Yudi had reached the other side and sat in… Rani was hurt with Yudi's behaviour and her heart was grieving deeply at this … Yudi broke her trance and called out.. "What happened Raane… is everything ok?" Rani replied in negative and sat with a heavy heart….

Yudi felt sorry for his behaviour… but he wanted to make Rani realise her mistake and soon she will admit her love for him…. He got busy putting up the seat-belt… Rani struggled putting it up… Yudi saw it but chose to ignore it… but after sometime he could no longer bear to see her struggling…. He called out to her and as Rani turned… Yudi took the seat-belt from her hand… and helped her put it… but all this while Yudi did not even see her face… he could feel Rani gazing at him all the time…. Finally he finished putting it…. And without even looking at her he started to drive the car… Rani couldn't help stealing glances all the time…. Yudi was seeing Rani from the corner of the eye… and was feeling happy about the change in her behaviour….

Part 6

Saksham thought to himself that life doesn't give him such opportunities where he could be close to Niharika…. He looked deeply in Niharika's eyes… he could feel them reciprocating the same feelings which he had in his heart for her…. Yudi's absence from their lives had resulted in them coming closer…. Yudi was the keeper of all their secrets…. Their common bond was Yudi…. Their missing Yudi had culminated into them pouring each other's heartfelt thoughts and feelings into each other and acknowledge each other's presence in their lives….

Meanwhile Yudi had reached that place…. He saw them lost in their world…. He broke their thoughts and caught their ears…. NiSha looked embarrassed ….. Yudi teased them…. "here I'm asking you to help me with my love story and you two are busy with your romance?" Niharika blushed and turned to leave when Yudi caught her hand and said… " I didn't know my darling sister is in love" and further joked… "Didn't you find someone better than this Saksham?" it was Saksham's turn to glare angrily…. Yudi hugged Saksham and said " I know there is no one better and so it's a no wonder that she chose you…."….

There was a big smile on Saksham's face as he thought fondly of the day when they had become friends….. Yudi was always confined to play only at the palace…. He was never allowed to play with the middle-class crowd outside…. Saksham was often seen playing around with everyone …. But he often saw a pair of eyes inside the gate staring at him all the time…. Saksham had often longed to go and play with Yudi but his father who worked at the palace asked him not to…. One day when Saksham was returning home from a shop…. He had fallen off the cycle on the main road…. Yudi had happened to see him and had rushed to his aid…. Yudi managed to take Saksham home in his car…. Once home…. Yudi refused to leave Saksham's side till he was alright…. Which resulted in Yudi returning late at home for which he had got a big yelling from his father…. Saksham was hurt and had longed to meet Yudi…

he somehow managed to convince his dad to take him to the palace…. He felt lost in the palace as he frantically searched for Yudi's room…. He had just found it when he spotted Yudi's father shouting at him for helping the servants at the palace…. Saksham immediately somehow managed to hide behind the curtains outside… he waited till his father left the room…. Once his father had left the room…. Yudi had turned the other way trying to hide back the tears…. When Saksham stealthily entered his room and locked the door from inside… the sound of the door locking had alarmed Yudi and he turned…. he was perplexed to see Saksham…. As Yudi poured out his heart to him…. Saksham vowed never to leave Yudi alone and promised to be his friend always…. He realised being near to Yudi was not easy…. but God had fulfilled his wish… Yudi's father had wanted a servant who could be with Yudi all the time…. He did not specify age limits…. Saksham grabbed this opportunity and since his father was a loyal servant of the royal house-hold…. RS had agreed to it…

Now back to reality…. Saksham realised he had got Yudi's acceptance…. He got tears in his eyes and hugged him back… the threesome headed to the palace grinning happily….

Once in his room… Yudi thought about NiSha's love…. which reminded him of his eye-lock with Rani at the party…. He was still not able to trace the reason as to why Rani had left him…. He wanted to clear out the misunderstanding as soon as possible…. He wanted to make sure that there was no fault on his side….. he wondered what had made Rani walk out so abruptly and that too at the time when everything seemed perfect…. He would have got to know more about her… but fate had other plans stored for him…he broke his thoughts and realised tomorrow his step mother and step-brother Rudr were returning from London….. he was eagerly awaiting for their arrival… he discussed the preparations to be made for their arrival with Saksham…. And once he had done with them…. Yudi called up Rani that he won't be coming to the office as his mother and brother were returning from London…. Rani reminded him that he had to sign some important papers…. Without which their work won't proceed…. Yudi asked Rani to come to the palace at 9.00am along with the papers and he would sign them here…..

Rani had come early at 8.00 am and stood outside the palace…. The guards escorted her to the palace entrance and showed her the direction to Yudi's room…. She looked at the rooms… she realised the size of one room here was more than the size of her room given by the company… she realised she still had to go further…. When her eyes caught something…. her Yudi was here swordfighting.... she eyed his well toned body… how much ever she tried she could not take her eyes off him…. She felt weak on her knees…

Meanwhile Yudi in his hurry had forgotten to take his clothes… he realised his clothes were spread on the bed…. He thought of calling Saksham but then realised that he had gone to get flowers…. Finally he picked up courage and called out for Rani and asked him to give his clothes….
