Mann yeh saahib ji...Jaane hai sab ji, Phir bhi banaye bahaane...
Asad slowly guided her back down onto the swing and unsure about his actions the entire time, with his mind telling him to STOP this craziness and get out whilst he can lowered himself down on the swing sitting before her too. Their eyes dancing a tango of their own. Their hearts busy drumming a different pattern altogether in their chests, and their ragged breaths singing a completely different tune as well.
Naina nawaabi ji...Dekhe hain sab ji..Phir bhi na samjhe ishaare
Zoya watched confused, startled and defensive, slightly breathless as Asad carefully observed her hand with as much concentration as if mapping out an architectural blueprint (which he was) or an artistic masterpiece, it seemed when his mind had made a sound decision he raised his eyes, seeking permission of some kind or see if Zoya retreated or became defensive, but she couldn't even if she wanted to (which at this point was just a lie she was telling herself)
Mann yeh saahib ji haan karta bahaane...Naina nawaabi ji na samjhe ishaare (na samjhe ishaare)
Zoya gasped softly as she felt the cold henna on her hand, her eyes widening with even more shock as she finally understood what it was he was doing. She couldn't believe what her eyes were seeing or what was happening but there he was before her, artfully and carefully holding her hand as if it were the most delicate thing in the entire world and was artistically designing as much of a delicate henna tattoo onto her hand, all the while looking up into her eyes every now and then..
Dheere dheere, nainon ko dheere dheere Jiya ko dheere dheere, bhaayo re Saibo..Dheere dheere, begaana dheere dheere...Apna sa dheere dheere, laage re Saibo
Unable to get the right angle to continue designing further down her hand, Asad absentmindedly gripped her arm and tugged slightly so she could change her angle, but Zoya who was sitting just as absentmindedly ended up losing her balance as she got startled and fell forward onto him, her lips grazing his face right next to his lips, missing his by just an inch. Both their eyes widened, and the exchange left them all the more restless and breathless and aching for more, their hearts begging for restraints from the invisible chains the two had binded themselves with.
Surkhhiyaan hain hawaaon mein..Do dilon ke milne ki...Ho.. arziyaan hain nazaaron mein..Lamha yeh tham jaane ki
Finally, Zoya managed enough courage and strength to move back and put some respectable distance between them, and look him in the eye again. But all that happened, was that their breathlessness increased with each second and each inch of gap created between them.
O kaisi huzoori ji yeh lab dikhlaaye
Their hesitant eyes, made eye contact and only took them further to the point of no return. To the land of temptation and sin. The desire to just give in and let their heart fulfill it's deepest and darkest desires. To for once, let go of morals, principals, the knowledge of right from wrong and the care for society and just live in this moment. Where it was no one but the two of them and a whole lot of desire.
Chuppi laga ke bhi ghazab hai yeh dhaaye
The both of them gulped nervously as their eyes continued to linger upon each others lips. Zoya bit hers nervously and Asad found his suddenly more parched than ever before.
Dheere dheere, nainon ko dheere dheere
They raised their suddenly darkened, suddenly more longing eyes back towards each other, just as unknown to both of them Asad's fingers delicately began darting around Zoya's wrist, slowly and carefully moving aside her chooriyan from her forearm so he could, as he remembered somewhere in the back of his mind, continue the henna design further down
Jiya ko dheere dheere, bhaayo re Saibo...Dheere dheere, begaana dheere dheere...Apna sa dheere dheere, laage re Saibo
and then Zoya's heart nearly stopped beating. Her breath hitched and her eyes widened this time in total alarm and panic. As she finally realized not just what she had once again allowed herself to feel and dream of but what Asad was doing, what she had let him do all this time when she wasn't in her right senses.
Saibo... Saibo...Dheere Dheere... Dheere Dheere
and then he felt it. She knew he felt it before he himself did for his eyebrows furrowed long after she had closed her eyes in frustration over her own stupidity. She tugged her arm back just as Asad lowered his eyes to see exactly what the rough surfaces he was touching were. But Zoya would have none of it. The more he tried to tug it towards himself, the harder she tried to pull it back.
Zoya - (accepting the fact that he was much stronger than her and she wouldn't be able to pull her arm free she spoke in a rather broken voice, her eyes filled with pain and tears) please, don't. (That's when Asad's grip subconsciously loosened around her wrist, enough for her to pull it back, because his heart jolted in panic seeing the intolerable and excruciating pain and tears in her eyes, a sight he couldn't tolerate)
Asad - Zoya, what..let me - (he tried to pull it free but she struggled against him, not allowing him to)
Zoya - (unintentionally, screamed. All she wanted was for him to get a clue and leave her alone but in her own fright and panic she didn't even realize when she ended up screaming and worse, hitting him. Her fingers smacked across his face due to the sheer force with which she snatched her hand away) I SAID, NO!! LEAVE ME ALONE Mr. KHAN! (She sat frozen, as did Asad, both in shock and utter disbelief over what just happened. Zoya's heart beat a mile a minute due to the adrenaline and fear of her actions whilst Asad's beat more and more heavily along with his building rage. Finally, when his anger boiled over his own head, to the extent that he himself didn't know how to control it no longer he gripped the henna cone in a deadly and disgusted grip and flung it over the railing of the terrace before stomping away from her without sparing her a single glance and slamming the bathroom door behind him, making Zoya wince at he did. Anger radiated off of him in waves. He couldn't remember the last time he felt this angry. So angry, he felt like his brain would blow due to the rage he was feeling. In the hopes of letting off some steam he punched the wall in frustration repeatedly because the truth was just like Zoya he too was more mad at himself. For allowing himself to give in, lose control, walk down the same treacherous path of DOOM AGAIN, despite knowing better. Angry with himself for allowing her to have that kind of control over him. For making a difference to him in the slightest. How did he allow this to happen? WHEN DID HE ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN? Zoya had quite similar thoughts running about in her head as she sat on the same swing under the beautiful night sky crying herself senseless, with her head buried in her hands.)

Haveli:
The girls watched with baited breath standing behind Ayaan, whilst the guys stood behind Azlan, as they finished a game of cards...All watching as they both put their cards down, showing no signs of fear or worry; they both seemed rather overconfident. But alas, Zain and Azlan watched shocked as all the girls cheered for Ayaan who smiled bright..
Arsalan - We told you, don't play any sort of game with this guy. You will only lose. Pictionary, cards, poker, board games, you name it...oddly anything but video games he will beat u at it.
Kajol - BUT HOW!
Naina - (laughed, smirking as she purposely placed a flirtatious hand on Ayaan's shoulder, much to both Humeira & Azlan's dismay) It's not that Ayaan's that good, it's just that...(not even looking at Azlan and Azlan's temper was on the RISE big time) others are just that bad
Ayaan - (smiled back just as flirtatiously) Once again, Madam, I agree 100%. (Winked at Naina who 'fake' blushed and Azlan's rage knew no bounds. He wanted to break every single one of Ayaan's teeth he so shamelessly shined at Naina)
Humeira - (equally enraged as Azlan, she tried to be discreet but failed miserably as she bumped into Naina so that Naina would remove her arm from Ayaan's shoulder as she walked over to take a seat before Ayaan. Everyone stared at her oddly wondering what was wrong with her and her strange behaviour but she pretended like she hadn't just done that) (smiling a little too brightly at Ayaan even though he didn't play her the slightest of attention) But HOW, that's what we all want to know. How can Ayaan win every single kind of game we've played in these last 2 hours?
Ayaan - Well...(eyed Azlan out of the corner of his eye for a few seconds before turning all of his attention right back to Naina, completely ignoring both him and Humeira because that's what their value was to him) Well, you see when I went to study in London, Asad was my roommate and we were both messed up pretty bad, by our family and (eyeing Azlan again) friends (Azlan's face was RED. With anger & JEALOUSY. He was so not nor would he ever be ready to hear how Ayaan and Asad became friends after Asad and Azlan's friendship ended. How Ayaan replaced Azlan.) and more than me, Asad was pretty badly screwed. For the first few weeks we barely talked, we just played one game after another and slowly after losing a shit ton of money to that bas***d (Azlan unknowingly flinched as Ayaan called him that) I got the hang of all the games. When I finally got him to open up and he started telling me his life story; how his dad abandoned him and his family, about his abusive step father, neglecting family members, FAKE friendships that broke him (Azlan tried but failed miserably to hide the pain, rage and jealousy within, his eyes said it all. Zain who could see this put a hand on his shoulder for support knowing Azlan may not be able to control himself and may end up punching Ayaan who no longer was his brothers annoying best friend or Zain's annoying step brother. He was his brother-in-laws brother.) I took advantage of his distraction and learnt all his moves, actually mastered and perfected them thereby besting them and I used them against him. I used his tricks to beat him and all of you...
Naina - (laughed) some friend you are...
Ayaan - Hey Missy, I take great offence to that. I am a great friend, just ask my man Asad, he'll vouch for me...
Humeira - (batting her eyelashes at him, which he didn't even see) I'm sure he will...
Kajol - Waise Jeeju, agar aap chahein toh hum sab neeche jaake Anaya Aapi ko upar bhej sakte hai phir aap aur woh akele upar baithke khel sakte hain, I know of a really good game you could play.
Azlan - (muttered) it's House House. These have been playing the adult version since they were 3! (Kajol flung a pillow at him)
Naina - (waggled her eyebrows) So Jeeju kya bolte ho? Iss kholi fiza main, inn sitaron ke neeche..kya aap Anaya Aapi ke saath ghar ghar khelna chahoge...
Ayaan - (leaning back in his chair, flirting with Naina again) Main khelna chahoonga, Aapke saath. (Humeira could take no more and in a fit of rage stormed away from there)
Kajol - Arre isse kya huwa?
Zain - (frowned) probably just tired after the drive...
Aahil - (cleared his throat, paying more attention to his silent phone than the conversation happening around him) Yah I'm pretty tired too, think I'm gonna hit the bed.
Arsalan - (meaning something completely different, which all the Farooqui's understood) You're sure right?! After all, tomorrow is a BIG DAY (Everyone had their eyes on Aahil, the Haveli kids not understanding the hidden meaning behind Arsalans question and they wouldn't either, because without answering Aahil walked away, silent & subdued not sure of what tomorrows sun held in store for him.

The Other Haveli:
Zoya - So yeh hai, Maryam, Mashallah (jumping onto the bed next to her) yeh Dulhan toh kuch zyaada hi sundar hai (smiling at Maryam who continued to stare at the bedspread before her, unresponsive) check kiya na tumne Mehnaaz, hamare dulha bhai abhi tak dekh sakte hain, andhe toh nahin hogaye Maryam ki khoobsurti se...
Mehnaz - Agar aapke woh shehri baabu ab tak nahin hue toh hamare dulha bhai bhi nahin honge...(Zoya's smile died on her lips as she understood what Mehnaz said or what she thought she had said at least)
Zoya - Kya Matlab?
Mehnaz - (laughed) Kuch nahin, Aap ayee main aapko aapka bistra dekha doon (Zoya nodded, and turned her head back to Maryam but was surprised to see her as unresponsive as before. She couldn't shake the feeling that suddenly sank into her seeing Maryam sitting like that, so sullen, so stiff so motionless. Her eyes lifeless.)
Zoya - (coming off the bed, whispered to Mehnaz) Sab theek toh haina? Maryam, I mean woh aise...woh khush haina iss shaadi se?
Mehnaaz - (clueless as to what was truly going on here) haan baaji aap kaisi baatein kar rahee hain, meri yeh saheli toh hai hi aisi. Abhi filhaal thak gayee hogi aap kal subah millijeyaga tab tak toh woh theek hogi, aur waise bhi na hamare gaon ki dulhaniya hoti hi aise hain, (walking out of the room with her) Sharminda aur chup chup, aap bhi kabhi try keejiyega aap pe chup bauhat suit karega...(Zoya giggled loudly in response to that)
