Hello everyone I have updated ch12 do read it and let me know your valuable reviews, will be eagerly waiting for it.

This chapter is specially resed for my sweetu, dillu, arpita, somu, anopama, anuv6, sweet_tehs, JAZ, Nik, juhi, aleenaansari, natalya and all my sweet readers

CHAPTER 12

Here Asad was going through the file, little bit irritated about the failure of his apology plan

Asad: its ok Asad, don't think about it much. I apologized to her, she didn't accept it that's her problem my work is done, then why am I still thinking about it (laying back on his chair) what's happening to me

Well we know what's happening to him but he is Asad Ahmed Khan he will not accept it that easily, suddenly something or we can say some excuse striked him

Asad: now I get it! She was not knowing who had sent that coffee that's why maybe she was confused so I have to apologize making her realize it's me who is sorry, without any confusion but how?

His thoughts were interrupted by Rohan, who had come to complete the discussion which he had left in between seeing the coffee going back

Asad: Rohan actually, I had to make one urgent call which I suddenly remembered

Rohan: ok, that's fine sir! So can we continue the discussion if your call is done? actually, sir, it's important to complete it I have to send the details to Tanveer so that she could make the overall budget for the clients ASAP

Asad: yeah it's done, you have a seat

With that, they completed the discussion

Asad: that's it lets work on it if any clauses are required then we can add it later

Rohan: ok sir, one more thing the conference hall is ready so we can start with the meeting whenever you say

Asad: ok, but it's almost time to wrap up but this discussion is also important, anyway it will just take half n hour, just tell everyone related to it to assemble. I will be there in 5 mins

Rohan: ok sir

With that, he left from there

Asad was standing near the conference hall waiting for Ayaan and also was talking to one of his clients on his Bluetooth

Zoya was also going to the conference room with the design for the meeting when she saw Asad standing there

Zoya thinking, " Zoya this the best opportunity to talk to him but what if he will get angry, let it be, I should just go with the flow. that's better than provoking his anger (with that she was above to go to the conference hall, but then again stopped thinking) I can't do that I have to tell him about it, it's my job after that whatever he decides that would be final

After taking a long breath she went towards him

Zoya: ex..excuse me sir

Asad turned towards her and was confused to see her, he was above to say something when client on the line said something which he didn't listen

Asad(to the client): yes, what were you saying?

Zoya: vo sir, it's about the design actually...

Asad seeing even Zoya is saying something

Asad(to Zoya): no not you, you wait let me complete this!

Zoya stopped saying wandering what does he want to complete but the client also stopped the discussion thinking he said that to him

Asad(to client): why did you stop, you please continue I was saying it to someone else

Zoya thinking, "is he gone mad, first he tells me to stop then another second he tells me to continue if he is saying I have to do"

Zoya: I think after changing the design...

Again both of them started not letting him concentrate on one at time

Asad: ok that's it

Asad(to client): will discuss it later, I have to attend one important meeting now

Zoya/Client: ok sir/ok Mr.khan

Asad saw her leaving

Asad(to Zoya): you wait

Client(who was above to disconnect): yes Mr.khan?

Zoya also halted hearing him

Client: you want to discuss it now Mr.Khan?

Asad(to client): no not now

Hearing it again Zoya was above to leave totally confused but Asad was fast to react he hold her hand and pulled her towards him, Zoya also collided with his chest due to sudden pull, Zoya's heartbeat accelerated being so close to him, for a moment Asad also got lost in the moment they had a small eye lock as their faces were dangerously close.

Asad was the first to come out of the trance hearing the client voice, immediately they pulled away from each other maintaining the safe distance

Client: Mr.Khan are you there?

Asad cursing himself for making the situation so awkward

Asad(to Client): yes Mr.Singh, actually there was small confusion over here

Zoya checked the surrounding to check who is the Mr.Singh he is talking to, she gulped finding no one

Zoya horrified thinking, "Allah Miya! Imaginary friend"

Asad(to client): I will call you tomorrow (with that he removed the Bluetooth from his ear)

Zoya sighed in relief after noticing the Bluetooth and finally, she understood what was going on

Zoya: I'm sorry sir, I didn't notice the Bluetooth

Asad(totally tired by this): you should be, I wonder how does he manage this 24x7 in his ears

Zoya: who?

Asad: nothing, you tell what were you saying

Zoya: actually about the design

Asad(interrupting her): will discuss that after the meeting, its already late I have to start with it

Zoya: ok, can I go then?

Asad: yes(thinking "why is she asking me")

Zoya: hand

Asad: what?

That's when he realized he is still gripping her hand, he immediately left it and was above to say something but then she was already out of sight, Asad just sighed rubbing his forehead

Conference hall:

After sometime Asad and Ayaan entered the room, Asad sat on his chair which was placed in the middle, Ayaan sat in the chair beside Asad so the arrangement was on the right of Asad there was Ayaan then Zoya and the all the employees and on the left side of Asad Tanveer, Rohan and then rest of the employees were seated in circle

Asad was going through key points of the meeting in his laptop when he heard Ayaan and Zoya's talk

Ayaan: I'm so exhausted and this meeting is not helping at all

Zoya just smiled at his antics

Ayaan: are you not exhausted?

Zoya: no sir

Ayaan: I always forget to clear it with you, don't call me sir, I have such a cool name call me by that "Ayaan", even sounds simple

Zoya: but, how can i...

Ayaan(interrupted): see you are senior to me, so even I should call you Zoya maam right?

Zoya: that's not needed

Ayaan: exactly even I'm saying that

Zoya(sighing): ok fine! Ayaan si...(looking at Ayaan who had raised his eyebrows) I mean Ayaan

Ayaan: that's cool

Asad thinking, "what is he up to"

Ayaan: I'm ordering some juice, you will have?

Zoya: no thanks

Ayaan: common have it, you will be refreshed

Zoya: no, just sometimes before I had an unknown coffee so I'm totally refreshed

Asad smiled a little hearing it, he was happy knowing she accepted it

Ayaan: unknown coffee? Which flavor is that?

Zoya(covering up): I mean coffee just a coffee

Ayaan: ok, for a minute after hearing unknown I thought bhai send you the coffee

Asad was shocked hearing it

Zoya: why?

Ayaan: he has a habit of sending coffee as a token of apology

Zoya: really?

Ayaan: yes, since childhood if he does something to offend ammi or someone he tells servant to make coffee with sorry written on it, I don't know where does he got this in his mind, but it's only applicable to family members

Zoya thinking, " but I'm not his family"

Zoya: only family?

Ayaan: yes, because AAK don't give a damn if some outsiders is offended by him

This left Zoya totally confused

Asad thinking," before that idiot unfolds all my embarrassing childhood habits lets start with the meeting"

Soon they started with the meeting Asad explained each and everything which is needed to be taken care of, meeting didn't take much time soon Asad concluded it

Asad: one more thing since tomorrow we are starting with the construction of sealink, so I want everyone involved in this project to be present at the site so you all directly report there

Everyone nodded at him

Asad: ok, you all can leave now already time to wrap up

With that, all left from there except for Asad, Tanveer, Zoya, Rohan and Ayaan

Zoya(showing him the hard copy of the design): sir the final design

Asad: it is already been approved right? You were talking about this design before!

Zoya: yes actually, I had done some modifications since you had said to redesign that pillar part after doing that from left side view it was looking odd so I had just made some changes after discussing with the team just wanted to get approval from both of you, sir, if you didn't like it we can continue with the old plan.

Tanveer: now in last moment you are changing the model, there is something called as professionalism for god sake

Asad completely ignoring her

Asad: let me see

Zoya showed the design and Asad was analyzing it and Zoya was explaining the details to Ayaan as he is still a kind off fresher and Tanveer she felt a bit insulted by Asad's reaction and it was too much for her to handle in a day

Tanveer fumed thinking, "you shouldn't have come in between us Zoya, you have no idea what extent I can go for Asad. Today is your day but I will make sure you pay for it that too with interest"

Asad: its good

Ayaan: yeah even I liked it, brilliant work Zoya

Zoya just smiled in return

After some time in Asad cabin, almost everyone had left and Asad was also above to leave when someone knocked the door

Asad: come in!

Tanveer entered the cabin

Tanveer: Asad I need to talk to you

Asad: now?

Tanveer: its kind of important

Asad: ok come have a seat

They both got seated

Tanveer: it's about Zoya

Asad: what about her?

Tanveer: Asad been an HR, it comes under my responsibility to ensure all the employees are systematically working and Zoya she is new here and also little irresponsible, so I have to be strict with her, you know I don't like to be rude with anyone but she doesn't leave either way now see tomorrow we are starting with the construction and today at last moment she made the modifications this is not professionalism at all, I just want her to be more responsible as she is working in DC now, maybe while doing so I might look bad but it's for her own good

Asad after hearing everything carefully

Asad: look Tanveer I understand that and I have told you before also as an HR you are doing a great job. but since some days I have noticed you are going over the board just to maintain professionalism you cannot insult the employees I was above to discuss this with you tomorrow its good today itself we are making this clear, not only for Zoya but for everyone it's applicable. You cannot talk to anyone like the way you talked to her, maybe you are not realizing it but it was not looking good at all. Firstly coming to last moment modification, construction have not been started so we can make changes so that at the end of the day we get a best design and ideas can pop up anytime being an architect I understand that she is not to be blamed in that and Tanveer if you are an HR then she is the architect correction senior architect so she is not working under you, you both stands in same level you should not forget that I understand you are doing your work but your way is not proper, I know you have to be strict but there is lot of difference between being strict and being rude

Tanveer was shocked seeing the way Asad was supporting Zoya and indirectly lashing out at her, she was hating Zoya more now

Asad: since you are also my friend I'm explaining this to you , if it would have been someone else I would have terminated them my now for misbehaving with employees

Tanveer: sorry Asad I was not knowing it was getting so terrible from now onwards I will take care of it, I didn't mean that

Asad: I know, but it's ok it happens I'm sure you will take care of it from now

Tanveer: surely, I should leave now

Asad: hmm, you have your car right?

Tanveer: yes, but today I have to take a cab it's gone for servicing

Asad: no need to take a cab, company's car is there it will drop you

Tanveer nodded with a smile and left from there, after coming out of the cabin

Tanveer fumed thinking, " you can personally drop that bitch but when it comes to me than company's car is there, how could you do this to your friend jammy, you belong to me only me and whoever will come in my way I will destroy them"

Zoya house:

Zoya and Humeira was laughing out loud in their room

Humeira(laughing): baji really you did that

Zoya(laughing): you should have seen his face gudiya he literally got up from his place thinking that I completed the work today morning! then I said I did that from my home and he was like ok, but expression was worth a watch when I said I used all the letterheads

With that, she again started laughing remembering the incident

Whenever there is a problem you shield me and go through it all alone and then when everything is solved you tell me, baji I'm your sister and for god sake I have equal rights to know your problems as much I have to celebrate your happiness, you know I hate secrets especially when you are involved, you have not realized but the fact is I'm not a kid anymore

Zoya: I know my kid has grown up but just because of your exams I didn't tell you, trust me but now onwards it won't happen

Humeira: promise me there won't be any secrets

Zoya: now stop overreacting gudiya, I told you it won't happen again, you don't trust me or what

Humeira: I trust you more than anything in this world

Their talk was interrupted by Humeira's mobile which was ringing she went to attend the call

Zoya smiled at her thinking, " sorry gudiya, it better some secrets are kept folded, I can't break the promise given to my ammi"

Unknown to them one more person had witnessed their moment yes, it's none other than Akram, for a minute he saw the glimpse of old Zoya in her.

Akram thinking, "No! This will lead to the dangerous consequence, I will have to stop this!

He stormed into the room as soon as Humeira left to take a call

Akram: you're resigning that job tomorrow! Is that clear

Zoya(shocked): but why? What happened?

Akram: because I said so! I don't want you to work there, prepare your resignation

Zoya: no I won't!

Akram: what! Why are you hell bent in testing my patience! Ok you keep your dream job but be ready to lose your dear family

Zoya(totally numb): Akram?

Akram(with an evil smile): you guessing it right

Zoya was not knowing how to handle the situation suddenly something striked her mind

Zoya: Akk...Akram actually even if I want to I can't resign that job, I have signed a bond with them, I will have to pay the compensation amount which is too much

Akram: oh pls, I'm not that fool ok, I know company's basic policies, did you had the mutual talk with the BOD

Zoya was quiet for a moment.

Akram: tomorrow you're doing that and one more thing before talking to them I will call you and the call should be going on, I want to hear the whole conversation

With that, he left from there leaving Zoya terrified thinking how to handle the situation
