WHAT ARE YOU DOING ANI??😡😡
"Zoya...", Asad called her, opening his eyes slightly as the Sun-rays were now peeping into 'their' bedroom through the large wide windows.
"Hmmm...", she replied and looked back at him.
"What are you doing so early in the morning with your diary? You should have been sleeping right now...", he asked her while rubbing his now half-opened eyes.
"I know... I should have... But I was just..."
"You were just writing something huh? I wonder what you keep writing in it. ", he asked her as his confusion over the matter was raising his curiosity each day.
"Asad..."
"Yes...", he answered displaying his sweetest smile to her.
"Go back to sleep!", she ordered him and Asad gladly did so as his eyes still refused to accept the fact that it was finally a new morning of their new life which had just started the last night.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Flashback starts
Zoya had the toughest time of her life, believing that it was all happening so soon. It was just a few weeks back when Asad had proposed to her on Aafreen and Farhaan's wedding, to which she had said 'Yes' promptly. Though her teary eyes and digging dimples showed contradictory emotions, yet her rain of kisses on him only demonstrated her happiness which knew no bounds. But then, she never knew that Dilshad and Rashid would come to her house the very next day and ask her hand to Zeenat for their son officially. Zeenat's decision was nothing against any of their expectations.
Thus, the engagement also happened soon and so were the plans for the wedding.
Dressed in a red lehenga, Zoya was sitting in front of the mirror and looking at herself. A 'Zoya' that she never knew had existed before, was staring back at her with lots of new dreams and happiness clearly visible in her eyes. Aafreen and Najma, took care of all her requirements and helped her to dress up like a bride, in fact the most beautiful bride that had ever existed.
She was prohibited to meet Asad after their Mehendi ceremony, but talking was never mentioned in the list of the restrictions. She checked her phone for the umpteenth time, expecting a call or even a message from Asad. She frowned when she saw none. But again, she knew that just like her, he must also be surrounded by lots of people too, and moreover, they had managed to have an hour of conversation the previous night.
Aafreen, Najma and Atif, being the most excited of the whole lot of people, ran down to have a look at the groom, who looked no less than a handsome prince. Zoya made faces yet mentally, she agreed that this handsome prince was going to be only hers now. After sharing an emotional moment with Zeenat, she was finally brought downstairs where her new life and a new beginning awaited with open arms and was ready to embrace her for the lifetime.
Flashback ends
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Zoya...", he called her again, after waking up finally. He rested his back against the headboard while getting up and flashed his bare abs shamelessly. Zoya's heart almost skipped a beat and her cheeks turned red when she looked at the sight in front of her eyes.
She tried to drift away her attention from him and answered without looking at him, "Now what Asad?"
"Do you trust me?", he asked her in a serious tone.
"Get your questions right husband... Of course I trust you...and don't you ever ask me that again!", she glared at him and warned him.
"If you really do, then tell me, will you ever let me read this diary of yours? I mean..just look at you.. You just got married to the most handsome man last night.. and right now, you should be in his arms...but No.. you are stuck up with this!", he said while pointing towards the diary.
"That was really very smart of you Asad... But my answer is still a No... I won't!"
Asad huffed at her direct denial. He expected his charm and his childlike antics to work on her, just the way it always did.
Zoya got up from the couch and walked towards him, clutching her diary in her hand and loosening the first knot of her knee-length robe. His mouth was left open for a moment when this seductive sight grabbed all his attention.
Zoya walked towards him and bent a little to reach up to the level of his face. She moved her index finger along the length of his face and rested below his chin to close his mouth which was kept open till now.
"And do you know why?", she asked while moving her lips closer to his ear and slightly touching it.
"Because I will tell you everything all by myself.." She looked into his deep brown orbs as she said this and tried to take a step backward. She felt a sudden pull in her arm which made her land upon his naked chest.
"Then what are you waiting for wife? Just tell me..!", he said in a husky tone while his mouth lingered on her cheeks and the crook of her neck.
"Asssad..." A moan escaped from her lips as his hands were now busy untying the second knot of her robe. She tried to gather her senses back and spoke up finally... "If you keep distracting me like this, then I will never be able to tell you anything.."
Asad chuckled at her words. "So you want me to wait?", his words implemented naughtiness.
"Either you just stop distracting me and listen to what I say like a Good Boy... or else, Just Forget It... You get to know nothing Ever!! The choice is yours...", said Zoya, and she knew that she had succeeded.
"Okay.. Fine... Shoot!", he said with a pout that personified his cuteness.
Zoya placed herself comfortably on the bed, half of her body rested on his chest while her hands held him tightly around his waist. Asad understood her need to be embraced in his arms right now and he hugged her as tightly and protectively as he could.
The couple shared about the beautiful moments that Zoya had written about in the past... She told him about the first time when she had started writing in her diary, how it became a warm companion during her teenage days. She told him, how she would protect it from the eyes of her parents and how they too never tried to get hold of it... She filled him in about the details of her feelings that she had for him when she had seen him the first time in College.. Asad was quite surprised as well as amused as his feelings were also similar to hers at that time.
Finally she told him about the tough times when she had deliberately pushed away Asad from herself, yet craved for one touch of his, and wanted to rest her head on his shoulders and cry her heart out. All her emotions, her pain, her love for him, were safely stored in between the pages of her diary.
Sometimes Asad managed to peep into the pages where she wrote about him, and in return only got a smack from her. Her love towards the object sometimes left Asad in wonderment, but the more he got to know about it, the more he started admiring it. It was strange that Zoya's love for her diary did make him jealous at times, but not anymore. He knew that it was just another way of her to express her unspoken words. Moreover, he knew that their love was no longer confined within the boundaries of insecurities, it was now Free. Only a little more care and affection was all that was necessary to amplify it further.
"Zoya.. You have never mentioned any dates here.. How do you manage to remember what happened when?", he asked her being a little confused. Zoya smiled at his question.
"Dates do not fascinate me Asad. It keeps reminding me of the lost time. This Diary is a record of all the good and bad memories of my life. I always wanted to remember the feelings that I have, and not when I have them."
Asad was once again left speechless at the thoughtfulness of his wife. He was so correct from the very beginning- She was Different, really very different, and that made her fit perfectly in his life.
He pulled her closer to himself and she snuggled more into his hold.
"We will make loads of new memories together and this little Diary of yours will not be enough to hold them.", Asad promised her confidently which made Zoya's face lighten up with the brightest smile.
"We will... We surely will...", she said while placing a soft kiss on his chest, just above his heart, where she knew she resided.
"Zoya...", he murmured her name while inhaling the fruity smell of her hair.
"Hmmm...", she replied keeping her eyes closed as she was busy hearing his heartbeats which were no less than a melody to her.
"Am I allowed to distract you now?"
Zoya's eyes shot open at his words and her face turned to a deeper shade of red. And the next moment, her fists landed mercilessly on him.
"Awch... What are you doing woman? These are my six-packs, the ones you love so much and drool over, and not your punching bag...!!", he cried out as he tried to grab her hands.
Zoya stopped with her punches and got up a little to come on top of him, her face only an inch apart from his.
"Punching bag or not, you are mine and only mine!", and she possessively declared her right on him with a passionate kiss on his lips. It was a kiss of pure love that wanted to mark its territory over him.
"You are my one and only distraction... I promise.", he said as they broke apart from their kiss. His one hand encircled her from her back while the other grabbed her hair lightly and brought her closer to him for another pleasurable, passionate, enchanting, lustful kiss.
Soon, their distraction found a direction that only lead towards the path of Love, their Love for each other.
Two years, 10 months, 11 days later, they had finally named their Angel as Mehreen Ahmed Khan, who bore all the love of her parents. She was their new born daughter of 2 hours... Her face resembled more like her mother, Zoya Asad Ahmed Khan, whereas, her eyes were intense and deep brown, like her father, Asad Ahmed Khan. But she inherited one thing from both her parents, her dimples, that dug deeper when she smiled.
Dear Diary,
I am a mother now, mother of my 2 days old Mehreen. Isn't that a good name? After all, it was suggested by her one and only Atif Mamu. His happiness knew no bounds when we decided to stick to this name. My Ammi says, she got back my childhood in her. And my dearest mother-in-law says, though a girl, Mehreen still resembled a lot like Asad in his initial days. Did I ever tell you that Dilshad Ammi is the best, no Bestest mother-in-law in the whole Universe? Yes, she is.. She considers me as her own daughter. But again, I had to face its consequences too. I am no more my mother's daughter, but her son, Asad Ahmed Khan's wife. *sighs*
I feel so happy when I see Asad and his Abbu together. I know, what he did was wrong and not forgivable at all, but he had already got his share of punishment by being away from his only son for so many years. Now it was the time to move on and I feel so proud to say that Asad did move on.
And Asad... What should I say about him?? He is sitting right in front of me, with our little daughter in his arms and I am still on the hospital bed, wearing the world's most disgusting gown and writing in my diary. Asad still thinks that I look Sexy in this.. Yes, that's the word that he has been using for me since the time I got pregnant. Previously, it was Beautiful. He got himself promoted I guess... *wink*
Asad is making weird faces and trying his best to wake up Mehreen since he was late to come back from office, as usual and Mehreen was already asleep before he reached. I glared at him to stop him from doing that and he pouted and laughed back. Oh! How much I love to listen to his laughter!
Asad is now single handedly handling our family business. It was quite difficult for him in the beginning, but assistance from Rashid Abbu and his profound business skills, did not take him much longer to understand the construction business. He had several Architects as his advisors and Abbu was always there whenever Asad needed him.
The sight of a daughter in her father's arms is as beautiful a sight when she is on her mother's lap. Just as Asad had promised, we had been creating memories all these years, and intend to create more in the future...
Life is still unpredictable. It still takes unusual turns every now and then, but a little more patience, care, trust and lots of love are our weapons for fighting every unpredictable turns of Life. And now, Mehreen is another addition to our list of remedies. She has promoted us from a loving couple to loving parents. I don't know how to measure love, I have never learned to do so. But I know that We as parents, will together shower as much love as we can on our little Angel.
I hope Abbu is proud of me now, proud of us indeed. And Humeira, wherever you are, I know that you have your eye on me always, you evil witch! I hope I am being a good sister to Atif.
I love you Asad... I love you more each day, may be a little less than what you do. We may not be the perfect husband or wife, but we are perfect in rectifying our mistakes and learning from them.. And that is what makes us perfect for each other. I have never considered my life to be like a Fairy Tale, yet, I can proudly say that You are my Prince Charming...
Our feelings are like an open book to each other now... They have also learned to frame words in these years of togetherness. And I feel so satisfied and so much at peace to say that We could finally realize our love for each other before it was too late. Our Emotions are no longer Unrecognized.
A/N:
Hello Readers... Finally this was the Last Chapter of Unrecognized Emotions...😊
I want to thank ALL OF YOU, who have read, liked and commented in this story and have motivated me to write up to its end.. 😛
As I always said, this is not any typical love story... It was a story of love... Love for your parents, friends, and definitely the one who is extremely special to you.. 😳
Zoya and Asad here, were two strong characters... They always knew what they wanted and what they did.. But the unpredictability of Life was something that had turned everything upside down.. Their emotions for each other took a backseat because they had several other matters to look into before they could finally take their relationship forward...
Then, insecurities and fear of commitment again made them take a step backward..
I know that sometimes this story was slow in pace, and might have been boring too... but I can only say that it was necessary for the story to be built up the way I wanted to... 😊
Thank You to EVERYONE-- my Regular Readers, Spammers and also my Silent Readers who have been with this story since the very beginning...
Please do Like and Comment on this last part... I will be eagerly waiting to read your comments on your journey with this story...😛
Lots of Love ❤️
