Zoya's reaction is natural n justified. How can she be d same chirpy n friendly Zoya wid d same Khan family who ruined her life? Zoya never believed in love but she believes in friendship n she got agreed to marry Asad cuz he also don't believe in love but Zoya thought dat they cud live as friends. She offered her friendship on their wedding night but he rejected her friendship rudely n said many insulting things to her. As u hv seen in d initial days, Zoya wud try to be normal wid Asad but he wud treat her as if she is a spreading disease. He wud hate to her bonding wid Dilshad n Najma. In dis story, like in d show Zoya always tried to be friendly wid Asad n during their marriage of 12 days also she tried to be his friend but she only got insults n taunts. Read d 1st chapter again n u vl understand it. How can Zoya be soft to him? He cannot talk wid respect to a woman just cuz she wears jeans n is modern. He even tried to stop her 4m following her dreams n tore her dress which she herself designed as if he got pleasure in troubling d person he hates very much. Asad has to learn a lot. If he really realized his mistake then how come he does not doubt Tanveer who is continuously trying to make him go against Zoya even wen Dilshad n Najma likes her? Asad is only guilty cuz he became like his abbu n he wants to show dat he is not like him. He is also guilty cuz Najma went against him n Zoya hates Dilshad. Zoya has her own self-respect n she can't let Asad break it again. Zoya has a troubled childhood. She had an asshole abbu who married her ammi for money while being engaged to another woman. She saw her abbu's real face @ d tender age of 5 wen she saw her ammi getn murdered n was herself nearly killed by her ammi's murderers but she got saved by someone. She then had a secured ife wid Zeenat n her parents but she cud not forget her past. She had 2 failed marriages in just a month-one before marriage(Akram) n other after marriage(Akram). She was in a way betrayed by Dilshad. Dilshad sud not hv made Zoya get married to Asad. How can she let her get always hated n insulted by Asad? So, even though Dilshad truly loved Zoya but her one decision made Zoya lost trust in her. Asad supports Nikhat's rishta knowing well how Imraan's family are. He told Ayaan dat bride's side has to bow before groom's people. He even does not think dat Imraan does not stands up for Nikhat. He does not even think wen Haseena tells dat she does not want Nikhat to go to college. Does he ever think how Nikhat vl live after marriage? He even told Nuzhat dat she vl meet d type of persons according to wat cloths she wear wen Nuzhat wore jeans in d mall. Asad always compared Zoya wid Tanveer n does not do much wen she interferes in almost every matters in their house. Do u think after all these, Zoya sud even think of being soft on him let alone forgive him? Wat Zoya is doing wid Asad is nothing wat all Asad did wid her in d show. One cannot change n redeem in just couple of days. One takes time to change.
