The happenings of the television world are pretty erratic at times.
This morning the world woke up to media reports of beefy actor Karan Singh Grover being sacked by the channel from the popular show, Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films).
The buzz was indeed hot and our readers kept asking us on the credibility of the news. Well, we would like to say that the information is true.
But why would the channel let go such a promising actor and a popular figure?
Media reported of Karan being "unprofessional". Here's more from a credible channel source: "Things became really difficult for the channel in the last one month or so. He came on the sets only five to six times in the last one month. He kept cancelling his shoot dates. Even when on the sets, he was usually not in his senses as he was either drunk or had a hangover. Things went out of hand and after meeting with him yesterday, we asked him to move out of the show."
Ahh...strong words, we must say.
Zee TV is expected to send an official statement to clarify more on the issue by the end of the day.
When we buzzed Karan he sent us a sms saying, "I will send an official statement by the evening."
He also went on to share on his Facebook page, "Folks ! don't bother if I'm IN or OUT from #QuboolHai. Will give an Official Statement Soon. There is an old phenomena of the FILM INDUSTRY the show must go on.. !! Stay Tuned."
Well, we shall wait on the respective official statements!!!
Tellychakkar.com also buzzed Producer Gul Khan but she chose not to comment anything on the issue.
Now if one man is out, another has to be in. The show is not going to shut shop with KSG's exit.
The above credible channel source said that they have zeroed in on four names who can come in as the replacement.
"We are looking at a big alternate. Gurmeet Choudhary, Mishal Raheja, Kushal Tandon and Barun Sobti are the names we are pondering on. And one actor the channel is very keen on roping in is Mishal."
Hmm...Gurmeet and Barun look difficult as they have been signed for another 4 Lions project on Star Plus (we reported about it).
Kushal on the other hand denied of being offered Qubool Hai (yet) and said that he is not keen on taking up television projects as of now as he just did Bigg Boss season 7 and intends to try his luck in movies.
So the bet can very well be put on Mishal. But given Mishal's lack of interest towards television, let's see if Zee manages to convince or cajole him to join Qubool Hai.
We buzzed Mishal and Gurmeet but did not get any response till the time of filing the article.

Honestly speaking , I feel problem is with 4 lions and not the actors because this is not first time the PH is hving issues with an actor of his show
Ask us Geet fans what all nonsense was spread about GC's professionalism towards the end of the show .. it was same case of actor taking vacations or shooting for other stuffs ... but the question is why will the actor loose interest suddenly which gave him such popularity and fan base ??...
Then IPK fans know well how Barun left the show and all blame was given to his unprofessionalism as he went on to sign a film ... again same question why will the actor suddenly leave such a successful show midway which made him a star ??
Then same case happened with the actor of channel V show too ..it was produced by 4 lions only and the actor left midway with similar issues ... question is same again .. why ?
Last comes this Qubool hua news of KSG leaving and I see PH and channel r again blaming the actor for his unprofessionalism but question is why will KSG loose interest or show unprofessionlism towards a show which gave him such high trps and fame ??
So either all actors of 4 lions become magically unprofessional after 1 yr of the show 😆 or the PH 4 lions themselves hv some huge ego issues and r in denial that they actually loose interest in their own shows after 1 yr due to which its quality goes down and so automatically actors loose interest ... and then they play the blame game on actors 😊
