Most educated women to this day find it hard to go against their husbands. The dominant reason being that from childhood the notion of superior inferior is fed into them. The good thing is that they are fighting it.

I accept character flaws but what if the other person is doing things that go against moral and ethical values? The patriarchial society is to be blamed, I believe.

And the fact that majority of the men are male chauvinists..Very few are open about it while the rest are closet male chauvinists😆 And yeah, also the general perception that its the woman who needs to sacrifice and make adjustments..Thats the reason why its the woman who is always blamed when a marriage breaks..While the situation has changed in cities, its still the same in small towns and villages..

yes. Their need to be the providers. They can't accept sitting at home while their spouses work.

I don't think its changed in cities either. They just hide it better.
