i only want to say...
freedom...please have freedom and open to all one see...and take it easy..
no need to impose the thoughts on others...one can follow for oneself..

if other person thinks its right..its right for him or her..

its simple as that😳

As long as everyone respects each others' views that is. 😆

Personally, I don't believe that. Morality is not derived from religion. To me it is the values you learn via life experiences and the environment you were brought up in, however that may have lot to do with the fact that I am atheist and definitely do not believe I derive morality from a set of books.

@Blue- Almost impossible when it comes but yes if people could respect another view point this world would definitely be more peaceful.

Back on topic - I think the intent of Gul to make her wear the skirt is questionable. The rest I guess is Zoe's business.

For the last line RC👏, yes we overlook that part always..
I think people are more vocal as she is from conservative religion, its not being a girl or something. Cant overlook their sentiments here as they live it and I for one will talk about myself, is just an observer.

I would be surprised if you get dozens of pages worth of debate because people might be done with the topic😆 But you never know, its IF after all.

I remember my dad had worn shorts to a particularly hot trip to Rajasthan to visit a diety and the the priest there had very promptly produced a white cloth because the shorts didnt seem appropriate to him. That should definitely be respected. I might not judge anybody at my office party but I might wear what appears modest to me cuz I dont want to be undermined or judged for my clothes at the place where the focus should be on my work. I remember a friend who used to go around with half her head shaved but had grown back her hair for the job interviews. She's as competent as she was with only half a head of hair😆 So her devil may care attitude was all pretense? or maybe however 'open-minded' we may like to think of ourselves are we all hypocrites to some extent?😆

I was actually looking for your post cause there's no way you'd miss out on such'a hot topic! LOL

Anywho since I've had my fun with the arguments already ( and man did it fulfill my appetite) the conclusion I've reached is... It's all TANU! She could have gone all "tailor swift" on Zoya's pants for all we know and hence.. THE SKIRT. The End.

For me religion/religious book is only a guide about ideal living and not a blue print of How I should live my life.

At the same time I feel that slit on the front was a lil indecent thus the twitching in seat for me lol..Also I agree I would never wear something too scandalising if people around me are gonna feel uncomfortable..umm but Zoya was home so and it was wrong timing!
P.S- My suggestion to Zoya, next time you do any such thing make sure you lock/latch the door!

Absolutely, religion is very personal and people should understand that different people follow it differently. For each of us indecency means different things. And that depends on how we were brought up. In the end there is no right or wrong but merely different.
