Thank you!

@blue - that is exactly it. In our quest to follow the rules of religion we have forgotten what it is to be kind and decent human beings. If we were less worried about what would happen in the after life and were more worried about how we treat our fellow human beings, life would be a lot easier to live.

Any religion cannot be demeaned by small things like clothes etc. It is the imbibing of the teachings and learnings in daily life that makes the religion and not the outwardly mask. The most thing is that you have a pure heart, be kind, caring and do good deeds that will make GOD happy and not put on a farce by covering up and having evil intentions. The purity in thought and action is important and thats what will count. Probably that is what the makers are trying to put across that GOOD or BAD is determined from our actions/deeds/thoughts/values and NOT from clothes, make up or rituals. Humanity reins supreme over anything.

Let me just say, I'm from a very conservative bg and I dont even wear 3/4 jeans, but at the same time I dont go anywhere close to traditional attire. Many of my frnds wear very short shorts, I dont really stay away from them for that reason. But actually I agree with u, I'm not a muslim but I do have muslim frnds and I know in muslim culture women have to be dressed very respectably. Even I got put off somewhere with the whole mini skirt thing. CVs hav gone a little loose in the head coz this is a muslim show and I dint really expect that. Just expressing my view. Not intending to hurt anyone.
