Like she said in SBB section, when has Asad given up anything he likes doing, because Zoya does not approve of it. I do not think its disrespectful at all, infant they both need to respect each other's choices. Tehzeeb is decided by thoughts not clothes, And for a Hindi serial this is great going. Good one Gul.

i dont want to argue about some fictional show, but just think about one point, becoz its the 21st century does that mean that a person should be vulgar and indecent, do we throw away morals and values in the name of modernisation,,, i think not and im not talking about qh here its general statement... another point btw see what were the results for modernisation? check the dirty forum postings involving surbhi.. for me my way for u yours..

Hey guys...just would like to add something...modernization does not breed indecency...they are two very different things...secondly...every person has a right to wear what they want...but har cheez karne ka ek right mauka aur time aur jagah hoti hai...which was not the case here...and on top of that Asad is an orthodox person...he was bound to react in this fashion...i think Zoya did not intend to go in front of him wearing the skirt...i still feel he happened to walk into her room unannounced...we should actually wait for the epi to air...for all we knw..aur reactions and judgements could be out of context😊

Well i really don't know why people are making such a big deal about zoya wearing a mini skirt...
I am very sure that she didn't know that maulvi saheb was there so she wore the miniskirt otherwise she wouldn't have and i think asad should accept her as she is and not try to change her and i think this is what CVs are trying to show that slowly asad will accept even her with her ideologies as well and as far as religion and belief in god is concerned then i think everyone can interpret their beliefs in their own way...its wrong to say someone's belief is wrong and someone's right...and i think it is our society that has interpreted many things as religious codes when actually they can have diverse meanings...

AGREE!!!!
Cvs are showing reality--Zoya is a Muslim girl but we can't overlook the fact that she is not a middle eastern girl but an American citizen!
Also, Adam and Eve were naked--they realized their nakedness only after they gave into sin-- it's was their shame that made them wanna cover themselves--and that's why we all cover up now because of the sin in the world--no purity in hearts of people so we can't walk around without clothes but God's original plan wasn't clothes! I have never read in any faith book about God giving clothes to Adam and Eve!
I am not a Muslim but I have a lot of muslim friends. I was raised in the US and now living in Canada. Zoya is just like any other Muslim girl who is raised in the west--respecting values and her religion but you can't forget the fact that she's an American citizen--She is a Muslim but she is raised in New York..and honestly I don't find anything wrong with skirts! Clothes do matter but Zoya isn't dressed like a hoochie girl--she looks fine! and she respects her Indian culture and doesn't wear short stuff in India..she only wore it because Najma asked her! + don't get me started on what happens behind the burkas..I know it all!!! Razia and Tanu cover their heads..do I need to say anything else?

just a simple scenario. has nothing to do with QH.. and be honest. if two girls are walking down the street, one covered in that none of her beauty not shape not beautiful hair jus plain face is exposed and the other, wearing flashy clothes, they pass by some men,,, which girl is most likely to be verbally harassed.?...
thats all i am gonnn say on this issue and topic...I rest my case..

I dont understand all the fuss being made on her wearing a skirt.
Its her choice.
Wearing a skirt is not indecent.

I think we are all educated people, and judging someone on their clothing is just plain regressive.
So if i wear a kurti, then its a given that I am as pure as snow?
I know many girls, who dress traditionally, but are what you would call 'indecent.'

Values and Principles are in a persons upbringing, not in the way they dress.
And really, this is the 21st century. How can you dictate what anyone wears??
Such thoughts leads to a woman always being blamed.
Why should we not wear what we like??

I mean no offence to anyone, but really, whatever happened to live and let live?
