Upset like the rest?! Agreed, it was a disappointing episode. Mr. Dumbo Khan! Although, he did say his mean stuff calmly and without yelling. The character growth is painstakingly slow. The Asad dance: 2 steps forward, 1 step back. Then 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Back to square one! 😆
You know webuser, I was one of the few who forgave him for the slap and all the other incidences before. But this one is inexcusable because just minutes ago he was gushing all over Zoya, ready to start a new life with her. What about giving a benefit of doubt to your loved ones?Heck, after today's episode, the Mahasangam seems much better. At least we got some eye staring, a hot dance (I actually liked it a lot) and a nice hug. Although I would have expected at least Asad and Appi to yell Zoyyaaa!I think the CVs are doing this character assassination on purpose to build up angst, so viewers start assuming the worst and expect a breakup. Then bam! The twist, a half-baked explanation and Nikaah qubool hai!Yup...it's in preparation for raabert Mona track, asad's jealousy track and then his redemption.I also wonder if 2 different writers are writing the script and can't keep track of what they have portrayed so far. Numerous situations but listing a few related to the fire:
- Zoya's burn scar. When Dilshad saw it , the scar was bad. Looked like 3rd degree burns. Such scars would definitely show though the netted/transparent sleeves of the traditional outfits. Also, why would Zoya not mention it when Asad asked her if she was in a fire.
- Did Asad forget Zoya has pyrophobia? How is that even possible?
- When Zoya told Asad about her nightmare, she clearly said that Appi and Jeeju havent told her anything as Aapi's mother was not in touch with Z's mother. So, it was clear that Aapi was not her real sister. Then why was Asad shocked when after the cemetery incident, Dlshad mentioned that Aapi was not Zoya's sister and she was adopted from the orphanage.
Yeah, major bloopers in writing...wonder how the actors feel about an inconsistent script? Or is Asad really playing Tanveer as some members are suggesting? I don't think so but I would love to be wrong.BTW, my take on the new montage was different than yours. I see both of them smiling (obviously Z more than A!) and leaning against each other lovingly, as if to say, we'll always be there for each other. Is the glass half full or half empty?! Time and the crazy CVs will tell!Hmm...you might be onto something :) although I would have loved to see them holding hands...or they will support each other without seeing eye to eye on any subject ?
