If you want Zoya to say, "I love you. What is your problem in telling me that you love me to.", ...not happening.

Even in the bathoom, she was trying to make him see reason- at least now you can please own up that you love me..." Zoya is not playing the fool all the time- she is serious too at times. She is alternating between styles to pry the truth out of him...😉

2. What does it mean to love someone?

To always put the other person first...and let go...the way Humeira let go of Ayan...she hung on with hope, until she heard it from his lips, that he had no feelings for her. And sadly for her, even when that love returned, it is still imperfect.

Zoya does not sufer in silence...she gives Mr. Khan a lecture about everything he has put her through...the thing is if she didn't lecture and make a drama out of those, he'd really SEE the person she is. Right now, he has only a vague picture of a loud, cute, spoilt, scatterbrain who has a good, kind heart...but a good heart is not enough for him. She has to fit into his ideal girl- he has drawn the wrong pic, poor guy! He will correct it HIMSELF!😆

Zoya, I feel will move away, not in anger, but out of love. She will stop pestering him, once it is clear he does not want her forever- he will be brought to his knees when he sees the person she is, and the huge mistake he made in categorising her. 😉

Rin, the thing with Gul's heroines is that they put their men first and foremost. Above all, above even themselves. It might be seen as being spineless, but the thing is Asad deserves a person like ZOya (at least the Asad who grows during th ecourse of the show.)..therefore she will always be his... and it is not like she has not retaliated. She stops short of breaking him, giving him a chance to grow up with less heart break! The heroine is stronger than the hero, even though she might appear to be childish and immature.

I love your posts and always look forward to them because they bring a fresh perspective and a new way of thinking. This is so interesting. I would love to see Zoe being in charge and taking a decision rather than Asad or Dilshad deciding and she being a mute spectator to all the proceedings. But I just have one issue. I really think at this point of time we should be shown Zoe introspecting her feelings. We should get a monologue or something where she realises the extent of her feelings. Why does she want him to accept that he is engaged to her because he means it? Why does she want his attention, she wants him to pamper her. Say to her that he cares for her? But even if he does, won't it be meaningless because she is still oblivious to a large extent about her feelings for him?

I think we're missing a point here. Asad does not want Zoya to be his life partner because he feels he is not good enough for her and will end up hurting her. His biggest fear is that he is like his dad. We know that from the first 5 episodes of the qubool hai when he talks to his mum about marriage.

Also in self-thought he had said he wanted to stay away from Zoya because he can give her nothing but pain.

The reason of zoya being wrong for his family is the outer reason. A fake one because no-one would understand the real one. Apart from the audience who are aware of his thoughts.
