Great post chicksoup ,and completely agree with you ! Its time for zoya to choose and this is needed for Mr.self denial to come to his senses .Let him get stuck with that Billi Rani then he will get the kick in the A** he has been asking for since forever . And even I am really not worried about zoyaan ,marraige-no marriage zoya loves just one khan and his name is asad!

This is what I feel:😊

1. Zoya knows she wants to get engaged to Asad, but not if he is reluctant about it.

2.Zoya does not go in to the depth of her feelings- SHE NEVER DOES- she always thinks of OTHERS- it is not just Asad- even in Mpur, she thought about the safety and well being of a complete stranger, putting her life at risk.

3.It is not that Zoya has no self respect, it is just that she cares more for the world than for herself..Asad is her pet project, and the man she loves...she WILL ALWAYS PUT HIM BEFORE HER own felings.

Good points Chicksoup and here is my reply-

1. That is the thing he is hesitating and she knows that, apparently believes the best way to get him to admit is by blackmailing and doing silly stuff which is all cute and fun for AAK but it wont get him to be serious. If she just tells and use his own words againt him by saying-"If this all a drama to you and if all this means nothing then give this ring to the one you actually mean to give it to. I do not want to make a joke outta such a important and paak rishta"

2. That is great to think of others but that does not mean one wont think ones self when alone. She is a orphan who spent most of her life 'wondering and hoping her parents were alive, came all the way to india all alone, got nearly forced into marriage, buried alive, MUed many times and in the end found out her only blood connection had died a long time ago. And she is also in love with a very complicated bipolar man. That has gotta make a girl think and have some effect on her behavior.
But then again its a TV show, they really dont go so in depth.

3. & 4. I didn't mean she has no self respect but more like she has no backbone when it comes to AAK. She melts easily when it comes to him, he gives her a cup of coffee and mumbles an aapology and she forgives, I tried to understand it and swallow that by thinking she wants to give him a second chance and that is good. Mistakes happen. But how many more time did he MU her after that and believe me he will continue until she stops and tells him, she understands him but he needs to understand her feelings as well.

Its not about teaching a lesson. Its about her being serious with him. He wil respect her once she takes the decision to keep him at arms length which will get AAK to earn her love, to respect her as she is because his pride and ego will slowly break when he sees the one he loves move away.

I like your idea in the first post and would love to see that happen.

I think we're missing a point here. Asad does not want Zoya to be his life partner because he feels he is not good enough for her and will end up hurting her. His biggest fear is that he is like his dad. We know that from the first 5 episodes of the qubool hai when he talks to his mum about marriage.

I watched Madhubala before QH but that was just cause of my aunt as she loved GEET. anyway. All i was fed up was making Madhu as like a TARGET. I mean first was her Mangater then RK then Sulatan now again RK

I hate the other show, not for the commodity she has become, but the empty dialogues and the repeatedly boring expressions...it is just a masala, with leseer creativity. I will not say none, because I find the dialogues are good, the concept is OK- the director and the screen play and the actors don't do justice...(This one is only 4 Ankie, pls spare me, MB fans!) And I make excelent use of my remote thanks to these kind of shows.

Game of TRPs like i always say. Never forget the show is first and foremost based on nothing but TRPs.

All these airport scene and etc etc wouldn't have been there if the TRPs didnt fall so low.

May not be the trps per se, this was coming up- THEY ARE MILKING THE TRACK for all its worth.👏 I am impressed.

Also, there is NO possibility of Ayaan and Zoya track. The PH has given a lot of Hints on it. I rather not explain all over again about it.

Also Gul would never bring down the character of her female protagonist. She always gives them the highest 'DEVI' like statue unlike the cliched shows of today. Hence caught between the brothers NOT a possibility!
