Me, Me, Me - I got to hear that Nitish Pande and Manasi Salvi had been cast as husband and wife in a new show. ALways liked Nitish since the days of Saaya and Manasi - of course goes without saying. And then saw the first episode where he keeps trying to crack lame jokes and she keeps snubbing him - there's no way I wasn't going to be hooked.

I watched the first episode. At the time my aunt was living with me and we had SP on our cable channel. (I live in New Zealand). I was not watching anything other than IPKKND on SP. That was the first and only Indian TV show I had watched.

My aunt said she was going to watch PKD and I just checked it out coz I read on IF that the show was produced by Rajshri. I had seen some of their movies, so I thought I should at least check it out. I also read about the concept and thought it sounded fresh.

I watched the first episode and saw Nakul playing the drums, and I was instantly reverted. Then came Mansi and Nitesh. They were fighting like cats and dogs and I thought this is interesting. Also Aslesha came in and gave full on attitude to her sister. I knew right away that this was a show worth checking out.

In the middle I did miss a few episodes during the time Adi was going to marry Latika. ( I just hated her). Then Adi and Pankuri got married in that unceremonious way and I was hooked from that point onwards. But to me the main attraction of the show was always Avantika. I was more excited by HARTIKA initially than PAYA! :). Even today, their chemistry is very clear. They have such a strong bond. In all, PKD is one of my first Indian shows. So I didn't know any of the actors. I just watched and fell in love with the show, the concept and the characters. That is why I have stuck to it for 2 years, through some of the insane tracks they had.

I hope to watch this show till the very last episode. That will be a sad day for sure!! I love Nakul now. I think he is a superb actor.
