I don't think Ghalib killed Ayesha, but I also believe that Nilufoer sincerely believes that this girl is her daughter Ayesha. So something HAS happened to Ayesha who is actually Panku's look alike and now Pankuri has been assumed to be Ayesha. She has lost her memory because of her head injury in the fall, therefore she remembers nothing of her old life! She also thinks she is Ayesha! This makes sense!
