Called few minutes back and Pandarinath attended it. He took all the details and said he will forward to programming team.

He also mentioned full name of Vivian Dsena and Sukirti Kandpal when I said only their first names :-)

Yep. Star works very technically with taking call requests. They take everything, but will only & ONLY take action, when they are flooded with calls. And calls from all over the country & not just a select few places!

For IPKKND, they were overwhelmed with calls. I remember once there was this shortage of consumer reps. I remember them saying, Star has especially recruited more people to take those calls. Sometimes, guys from the mail department used to come to attend to the calls. They even got a lot of international calls.

Over here, we are only at 15-16 calls average on a day..the number of callers aren't increasing..that's the prob. Since the programming team is very sharp at Star. They can easily track where they get calls from and who are they (regular / new callers).. by now, if they would have to dismiss us, they would've already dismissed. lol You know, they could have.

But we're just trying our chances..anyhow. I hope Ekta & Star are still kind on these little efforts fans are making.

Oh, do they track places also.

Like I have been telling I am from Chennai in all my calls. But I was in Kerala for the last few weeks. That shouldnt be a probelm na. Because today Pandarinath called and confirmed my City. But my mobile number is registered in Chennai only.

@Harini - I don't know if they track our movements Harini. What I was told though is, as soon we call them, they get the details of our sim provider & the city, it is probably registered in..so that way, they get our number, city, service provider & possibly, our names too - since their equipment might show, who it's registered too.. that's about it I guess.

But as a formality, they anyway ask our name & number, since they're trained to. The City, they always know, we could move up & down the Country :)

Called today noon and Shabana attended and took the details. She said - Rest assured, will forward this request to creative team.

I mean all these days, they said they would forward it to programming team. But last two days a couple of calls said creative team.

Not sure if I am imagining. Please do share your experience if you sense anything different.

What's that Harini. I didn't get you.

Last two days, u mean they've been receiving only a couple calls ?

No I think harini means that the reps are saying they will forward to creative team whereas they used to say programming team earlier. But harini that's just their way of saying

I called twice today and while meenal said she will forward to creative team khusbhoo said programming team

^^ Yes, they have actually used the term "creative team", once or twice with me too. But I'm not sure if that holds much significance, as they keep swapping between the words programming and creative. Let's see..maybe we could probe them politely once, asking them if they meant the programming team rather. Hope they elaborate, if they've something on that.
