Chapter 21

The Scindhia and Sharma families decided that it would be a good idea to allow the children to stay with the Deo Singhs for a few more days in order for Aarti to spend some quality time with her parents. Yash, Aman, Mansi, and Prateek were very understanding of the situation they allowed to spend alone time with her parents. The Deo Singhs were thrilled to be with their daughter they told about their family strong history she spent time with her nana ji, and nani ji even the kid gang loved hanging out with the grandparents.

"Aarti beta are you happy?" asked Aripta one morning while they were in the garden with her mother the three of them were replanting some flower beds." Yes mama I am happy. Why do you ask mama?" said a smiling Aarti "Because in a couple of days you return to Bhopal and your life without us, and that makes me sad and I am feeling a bit selfish to have to let you go beta." answered Aripta. Aarti hugged her mother "Mama I am always in your heart and we can speak on the phone and write to each other" she said continuing "Papa comes to Bhopal on business every two months you also accompany him we can spend the time together, then there are the social events that the families celebrate together. Mama we will always be together because I am a part of you, and Papa. I love you so much" "I love you too my intelligent beta" said a happy smiling Aripta returning Aarti's hug Naniji felt left out "My girls don't want to hug me? Won't I miss my little girl too??" she came forward to be included in the hug.

Yash was at peace and happy knowing that his Aarti was happy at finally knowing the truth about her birth and family history, it was like being around a different Aarti a more mature girl she was so much more confident in everything she did and said.Mansi, Aman, and Prateek also noticed she had always been a cheerful, fun loving girl but now she expressed her love for her brother, and sister more freely Prateek was her younger brother her best buddy the two of them became more naughty. While with him their bond grew they continued to shared everything they were each other's rock they fought sometimes during these days spent at her parent's home about stupid things mainly because Yash was afraid that Aarti might change her mind and stay with her parents.

Yash was torn between being selfish and demand that she return to Bhopal with them, and allowing her to stay with her parents they love her so much and missed so much of her life because of evil people and their evil plans. Yash decided to speak to Aarti regarding her staying with her parents "Aarti don't you think it would be nice to live with uncle and auntie get to know all of your relatives." "No Yash as much as I love mama, and papa I also love the Sharmas I have been living with them for five years they are my family too, it is unfair on my part to leave them when all they have done is love me unconditional I am their child too. I will miss them as much as they will miss me." expounded Aarti. Yash felt like if a weight was lifted from his shoulders his girl will return to Bhopal with him, he has one more year to spend with her and then it is off to college for him to pursue his double degrees in law, and business management/administration, following an additional two years in London to complete his studies in law a total of five years away, now that was depressing but in order to provide for his love after they marry he had to do this.

Aarti loved each and every moment she spent with her relatives her nanaji, and naniji were fun they loved the outdoors like her, the kids all enjoyed going horseback riding, and going on picnics, they visited the river and had fun with the local families and kids there climbing trees, swinging from vines on the tall trees this was the best holiday any of them ever experienced.

The day arrived for them to return to Bhopal Akash, and Aripta accompanied them back home. They were part of the post wedding functions, SP invited Maya, and her in laws for the celebrations, they also would be leaving the day after for the long flight to Trinidad.

When the Sharmas arrived at the SM Prashant once again started his ogling of Aarti but this time he decided to take the chance and approach her to convey his interest " Aarti can I speak to you alone please " Mansi was with aarti and she did not agree to leave her sister alone with this creep but aarti said okay Mansi left and found Yash, Prateek, and Aman told about Prashant's request they hurried to find Aarti fearing for her safety with Prashant . When they found them the friends did not know what to do if they should laugh or sympathise with Prashant. Aarti had him face down on the ground with her foot on his back and her hand holding Prashant's both hands at his back shouting at him to never disrespect any girl again; if when they meet in the future if he disrespect her again she will break all his teeth, then kick him multiple time where it hurts the most. Poor guy was shocked and in pain, tears were coming from his eyes, now there were witnesses to his humiliation all he wanted was to run from there to the safety of his room and hope he don't see her tomorrow before he leaves. On day he thought to himself one day I will get my revenge on her.

Flashback a few minutes earlier

"Yes Prashant what is it you want??" asked Aarti "Aarti I like you a lot you are so beautiful , your image have found a permanent place in my mind and heart >" Prashant replied coming closer to Aarti attempting to touch her arm "I want to be the first to kiss your lips they are so beautiful so fat and I want to suck it, bite " that was as far as he got because Aarti slapped him hard across the face which surprised him, she did not waste time one knee to his groin had him bending over, she made her move quickly moved behind him shoved him down with all her strength then placed her foot on his back grabbing his hands and pulling them back with all her strength. Aarti started her scolding this is how Yash and company found them.

Prateek said "Didi I have to remember never to get you angry with me you will go JKR on me."

Yash went to Prashant's assistance he had to convince a furious Aarti to let the boy go, and then he offered Prashant his help to stand up, Aman and Prateek accompanied Prashant to his room warning him again about his behaviour with Aarti trying to make the foolish fellow understand what he did with Aarti was wrong and he deserved what he got.

Akash, and Aripta realised that the kids went missing and sought to find them they saw the boys walking towards the stairs Prashant looked like he was not feeling well and he had a slight limp. They found Yash with Aarti, and Mansi in the courtyard having a serious conversation. The worried parents sensed all was not right with Aarti so they approached cautiously, the kids felt their approach and smiled at them "Betas is everything okay we saw the boys go inside is Prashant sick?" asked Akash Yash replied "JI Uncle Prashant is not feeling well, he has a long flight home tomorrow so he was saying his goodbye to us, and he fell and hurt himself." Aripta said "I should go and check on him poor boy I will inform Maya didi on my way ." and she left Akash watched her leave and enter the house he turned to the three kids and said "now tell me the truth Yash did you fight with Prashant over Aarti?" "No uncleji I did not Prashant got what he deserved from Aarti ." replied Yash trying to hold back a proud smile. "Explain what do you mean Yash" Aarti answered "Papa that boy tried to be fresh with me and I beat him up" "What !! How dare he!! I will go and straighten him out right now!" said a furious Akash "No Papa leave him he won't try that with me again besides he is leaving tomorrow and it may be years before I see him again" replied Aarti "No beta that boy needs affirm hand I won't hit him but he needs a good speaking too, and I will tell Maya about his bad behaviour, and I will inform his father we have to prevent him from ever repeating this mistake "explained Akash to the kids. "Aarti beta where did you learn to fight?' asked a curious Akash "Yash, and Aman bhayia thought both Mansi and I some simple defensive moves in case we get into trouble and there is no one around." Aarti proudly answered. "Yash beta thank you for looking out for the girls" Akash said while hugging him. "I know my Aarti will always be in safe hands with you my son, you both have my blessings." he whispered to Yash .

The following morning before he left Prashant asked to speak to Aarti Maya instructed the driver to go to the Sharmas here in the presence of the elders Prashant apologised to Aarti for his rude behaviour.
