Today is my last analysis of Prithvi Vallabh. I would come to the moot question. Why was Malwa able to do treacherous attack on manyakhet when GK was weak. There was none to protect Manyakhet in GK's absence. Most importantly the women of GKs family were well versed in arts but none knew the fighting technique. Why did Prithvi vallabh survive because his lady love was well versed in war fare. When he was weak she fought and protected him.

What was the end result of GK Shivdutt's folly. His daughter Mrinal killed the feminine aspect in her. She banned arts, she denounced love and completely blocked out feminine emotions in her pushing the family the country to war and constant upheavals. When did she get the real peace. When her knowledge was able to protect a man. The red blood that flowed in multiple wars didnt satisfy her thirst. It was satisifed by a pinch of Sindoor that has red color.

Mrinal represents many young woman of today. Growing up seeing injustice done to their families, seeing their mothers not valued for their contribution they denounce anything feminine. They are in war with themselves and with the world. They suppress the natural instinct of nurture as it is treated weak and learn the destructive skills that has more value in this world.

Our cultural degradation and multiple invasion happened because of our mentality to shut our women folks to kitchen, arts and other things and never teaching them to fight and protect themselves. Women were taught to committ Jauhar to protect their honor not to kill their enemy. These unskilled, unprepared woman committed Jauher or the glorified suicide each time emboldening attackers and weakining us. It was needed only to defeat the men, woman could either be taken slaves or they would committ Jauhar. I ended up watching the Jauhar scene of Padmavati and felt like vomiting. Are you telling me it is a honorable thing to take very young girls and pregnant woman( believe me there was a pregnant lady) to the pyre to protect honor. Is this what our society should get inspired from. Is this how we are going to protect our culture.

Looking back I dont know was it just a coincidence or the light shown to us by destiny the path to freedom was cut by a woman who instead of committing suicide or surrendering dared the British and gave them night mares. We need to understand though one gender has primary responsiblity it is not that other gender shouldnt know about it. A woman has to know defense techiques and how to conduct herself in the world outside home, whereas a man has to know what happens inside the home. If the circumstance demands she should be equipped to fight and he should be equipped to cook or take care of children. Life skills should be imparted to both gender only then we can protect ourselves. Woman are a nurturing and protective force and if she fights for protecting she will get peace of mind. Man has to understand without a qualified woman in his absence his family is at risk. By educating her, by making her self reliant you are only ensuring life is sustained on earth. There is no life without her, there is no culture without her. If you want to protect your culture dont worship her, dont make her a doormat but just cherish her.
