As a KiSha fan...I am extremely happy with the handling of KD & Kiya's individuality in this week.
The track started with a certain degree of selfishness in KD. Justified. He's just a guy, whose first reaction at hearing that his girlfriend was going overseas was to keep her close to him. He took some steps, which weren't right. I LOVED it. In fact...that is why I feel in love with TBP in the first place. They are real...neither their goodness is overdone, neither their negativity. KD acted like a normal human being would. BUT...KD may have tried to initially stop Kiya for himself, however, he later on, slowly & subtly realized the importance of Kiya's dreams...whatever he did was truly because of his love. No one argue on that. For whatever he did to stop Kiya's life getting destroyed...#hatsoff (Okay...I'm gonna phangirl here...AAAHHH MERA KD <3 <3 <3)
Kiya...the diva with dreams once upon a time, unknowingly forgot them & let her life revolve around KD. With one harsh shake from the love of your life, she woke up & set out to fulfill them once again. She took a step towards her dreams. I LOVED IT!!!!! <3 <3 That was the driven Kiya whom I was missing. She tells KD. She gets angry at his lack of support. Justified. After all, he had been the one who had made her realize that she was wasting away her life. He was her boyfriend. She doesn't even once listen to KD when he tries to show her the truth. Irrational & impulsive a move, but yet justified. After all, KD had tried to stop her for himself earlier, how could she believe that he had a valid reason to stop her now! And most of all...I loved her reaction yesterday. It was rude, irrational, unfair to KD, & it was so right for the situation. She sees her dream slipping away, so she lashes out at the person who had desperately tried to stop her from achieving it (from her eyes).
Had she run into KD's arms the minute he blasted at her, it would have been yet another, abruptly ended, track, rather than the well rounded one it seems to be this time. Thank you Anand Sir. Though I had wished that this was going to be a track about Kiya achieving her dreams, I am still very happy that it had a well rounded culmination. And the best part...we got to see the old determined KD, who would never stop till he reached his goal <3
Looking forward to the party! Really hope for maybe another well choreographed KiSha dance like Main Sharabi <3 I really did see the old TBP flavor in these last three episodes <3
