Khushi did not come for dinner while Arnav stayed back at home for her. After dinner, he went to his bedroom and switched the LCD on. He kept flipping through channels but nothing seized his attention. At last, he threw the TV remote on the bed and picked up the intercom to call Khushi.

The call was received on the fifth bell.

"I haven't seen a thankless girl like you before!"

"Who is it?"

"Arnav for God's sake, Khushi!"

"Oh! Arnav! So.. why did you call?"

"See, I was right. You are bloody selfish!"

"Excuse me, how dare you?"

"You are not excused. Why didn't you come for dinner?"

"I wasn't feeling hungry and how does not coming for dinner makes me bloody selfish Arnav Singh Raizada!"

Arnav just realized his name never sounded this sexy before. He picked up his pillow and curled it under his arm, a smile spread across his face.

"It makes you selfish that I have almost fixed your problem and now that your boyfriend is coming, you have turned back to being arrogant and rude, and acting like nothing has happened. I asked you meet me at dinner."

"It's not like that..I am not being selfish!"

"Fine! Don't tell me you are skipping food for that loving boyfriend of yours. Oh please tell me that you are keeping some fast so that he marries you!"

"It is not funny Arnav!"

"Yes it is! Then why didn't you come?"

"Don't you have anything else to do, haan?"

"You don't like me, right?" Arnav said in his usual husky voice.

"Yes, I don't!" Khushi answered almost immediately.

Arnav didn't expect her to be this honest and bold.

"I hope you haven't forgotten that I still have to help you with the mess you are in. And still you don't like me?"

"Look, I am really thankful for your help and nobody else can help me the way you are helping me. But.."

"I am listening.."

"But there are some things that I don't like about you."

"Such as..."

"The way you behave around girls, your lose character, your spending nights with them.."

"Will you shut up? That is none of your business Khushi Kumari Gupta"

"Exactly, it's not. See this is the reason I didn't want to say out loud. Truth sounds bitter"

"You are one thankless girl!"

"Whatever Arnav. I better go to sleep now. I am hanging up."

"Why is your dad getting you married to that old guy? He doesn't love you does he?"

"Now that's none of your business. I don't understand why you are so interested in knowing?"

"Have you forgotten you wanted to marry me a few hours ago? If your caring and loving boyfriend doesn't turn up, I have the right to know all the details, right?"

Khushi remained silent.

"Bataao..."

"It's not important enough."

"Of course it is..Go on!"

"I am sorry. I can't tell you . If you don't want to help me, it is okay. I will manage on my own. Goodnight!"

She hung up the phone and Arnav looked disbelievingly at the intercom.

"This girl is mad!" He shook his head and slipped down on his bead. His mind still full of the drama that happened in the garden this evening. Khushi Kumari Gupta, the new girl in college who roams around with a large dupatta has a boyfriend in Delhi who she secretly wants to get married to, but his father is getting her married to his friend and she proposes to him in need of help. She proposed to him and hours later tells him that she dislikes him because of his playboy ways. The guts this girl has got. He was unable to understand why he was taking so much interest in all this. He should have ignored her completely. This was his last thought before he went to sleep.

Khushi kept waiting for Arnav to come downstairs so they could go together to college.

When the clock struck 9, she inquired about Arnav to HP and her mouth fell open when he told her that he had left the house hour and a half ago.

The driver dropped her to college but she was very pissed at Arnav. He, on the other hand didn't look at her in the eye the whole morning in college. When she returned in the evening, she kept waiting to apologize to him for what she said to him the other night.

After dinner, when she was walking in the balcony, that she saw his car entering the gate. When she heard footsteps outside her bedroom door, she knew Arnav was going into his room on the same floor. She called HP in the kitchen and ordered him to get her two cups of coffee in her bedroom.

She took the tray from HP and knocked outside Arnav's bedroom door.

"Come in!"

Khushi frowned. How could she go inside Arnav's bedroom at this time of the night. Couldn't she have waited till morning?

"What is wrong with you HP?" Arnav opened the door fiercely. The tray in Khushi's hand was about to fall and her eyes widened. Arnav stood shirtless with an irritated expression.

"Yes?"

Khushi had taken a 180 degrees turn after seeing him shirtless.

"What are you doing?" He ran a hand in his soft brown hair.

"I brought you coffe..." came a nervous sound.

Arnav grabbed her shoulder and made her face him. A few drops of coffee splashed out of both cups.

Khushi looked at him, and bowed her head down, her cheeks reddening. She could smell his cologne and see his six pack abs.

"Take this" She gave him the tray and turned back to walk away when he pulled her back by her wrist.

"I don't drink two cups of coffee, Khushi!" Khushi heard his husky voice from behind. "Now that you have come at my doorstep, come on in!"
