So was Tirtha the same princess who was killed in last update? I am really curious to know as to who could be the queen. By the way one question. Yes the incident in last update happened at present...in world different from ours...

But co existing within ours...what that world has to do with us let's find out...

Z and Sid will be each other's through mostly...a cute Jeeju-Saali pair for now...

Dhruv craves for a father...just like any child will...he is trying to be open...trying to see the good side of Sid... and that just might be what is needed to patch things...

Parents can never easily ditch their children... Chand is a tough man and tough leader...but the father in him still loves his children...no matter what they did...

Family's are meant to heal together...yes we may hurt each other, sometimes to deep...but where there is love...that love may prevail above all else...

Misha is a woman after all...tomboyish, playing tough and all that aside, she too wants to love...

Mrinalini is the next biggest trouble...after Dhanraj of course...

It has something to do with Magic...not the good kind though...

So this is my first update after my status change from Miss to Mrs...

Chapter 27

Abaloria

"That's enough!" Princess Abhishiktha stood up glaring at the court "I won't have another argument on the issue. It will go as planned. Chithri get my vehicle ready"

"Yes my lady" a man standing to the left replied

"Please, my dear princess, I beg you to differ" an older man sprang up from his chair

Abhishiktha raised her hands to stall him. She pursed her lips before saying "Do I have to repeat myself Denaka?"

"No my lady" the old man dipped his head "The session is over. We will go by the ancient selector's choice" Abhishiktha said to the royal court of Abaloria "Now if you will excuse me" She swished out of the hall followed by a man and a woman.

"That was unwise" the woman said keeping pace with Abhishiktha

"Liana I presume you have heard the whole session, so I won't repeat my points" Abhishiktha didn't hide her annoyance.

Her trusted aids did not mind.

"I was not referring to the session my lady, I was referring to your last remark or let's say the person you made the remark to" Liana cleared her point.

"I appreciate your concern Liana and also the danger I am putting myself in. But this is the right thing to do. The ancient selector has always made the decision"

"Even though some of them where utterly foolish" Chithri interrupted with an undertone.

Abhishiktha glanced him once. She stopped at the door to her chambers.

"You both are my family and my friends. I appreciate and will always be indebted to you for your concern and also for jumping on my bandwagon. But this is the right thing to do you have to believe me" she said, almost pleading "I was never meant to be the Queen. I love it that you people think I will make a great queen. But as long as the true heir to the throne is alive I cannot and shall not take the position. I am more than happy to be the Queen's Chief Protector. My family has been doing that for long. I have been trained that way and so shall it be"

She smiled at her friends.

"We trust you Princess and we are with you. I will get your carriage ready in a moment. Don't forget to carry your bow and arrows. The place we are going into is treacherous" Chithri warned Abhishiktha.

"I will be cautious. You two get ready as well. We will start in an hour. Get enough supplies for the journey. We have to travel far" she looked out of the arched window on her right, at the clear blue sky " To find the truth"

Mount College'.

Basket Ball Court'.

"Look at her and here I was thinking she was different" Z commented holding the ball between her arm and hip. She was looking at Kabir and Misha merrily chatting in the corridor. It was two days since Misha had proposed. It had gone smoothly and Kabir was over the moon. But more than Kabir or Misha, it was Annie who was over the moon, that her best friend , had found love.

"Every girl, no matter how tomboyish she is, how tough she behaves, always is a bit soft. She likes to be pampered, to be taken care of , to be loved. Well in fact even men love that" Piya said taking the ball from her friend and dribbling it.

"Really and this is coming from the experience of being with a vampire?" Z questioned with a grin. She took the ball from Piya and passed it to another girl on their team.

"Exactly. Speaking of him, have you seen him around Z" Piya asked.

"He is most likely to roam around you Piya not me. Nope I haven't" Z replied before moving to catch the ball. She neatly netted it dodging two of her teammates.

"Excellent" their coach came clapping his hands "Play like this and we have a strong chance of winning the Inter College Match"

"There he is" Piya sighed seeing her father after long.

"I am happy to see that you have been training in my absence. For today this will be enough girls. Misha told me you have been in the court for over an hour" Aron said . He saw Z getting ready to explain Misha's absence , he stalled her "She also explained her absence"

Z's and Piya's eyes widened. They understood soon. Aron had read Misha's thoughts.

"Go on and clean yourself up" Aron dismissed them.

You two meet me after college he told his daughters.

Yes Dad Piya replied.

In the Forest'.

Miraz moved among the servants setting up the ritual site.

"Everything must be in position by noon. We need the noon light to fall on the materials for long" he gave out the orders.

Or else this might well be the last day for a few of us he commented mentally.

Raichand Mansion'..

Rose had her eyes tightly shut , her hand clumped our a lump of earth and a piece of wood. Her lips moving in silent chant. The lump of sand came from the place where Siddarth had lead Abhay , Chand and Jeh. A site he suspected dark magic had happened, which was not too far from Siddarth's resort.

She stopped chanting and opened her eyes. She passed them over the people collected around her, finally stopping on Chand.

"It's dark magic, which leaves deep mark wherever it is performed. The marks can be erased of course. Only a well experienced magician can draw it out. But here" she looked at the clump of earth in her palm "The mark is weak. It means either the person who performed it wasn't trained enough or they didn't erase it well. If you want a second opinion you should probably call in the White Rose wizard"

"Who?" Chand questioned.

"She means Aron, Piya's father. I will get him" Abhay said, preparing to go.

"Siddarth was right, whatever this is , even if the magician is weak, this is dark magic. We should be cautious" Rose warned.

Abhay passed Siddarth an incomprehensible look.

Ambolkar Mansion'.

Tanushree's room'.

T got out of her bathroom and was startled to find Mrinalini standing by the door.

"How do I look" Mrinalini asked with a smirk. She had changed herself to suit the time. Dressed in skin tight jeans and spaghetti, with shortened hair lying loose, she looked lethally gorgeous.

"Proud" Tanushree replied without smiling.

"Expected" Mrinalini walked in "After all you are not known for compliments. But thanks to you I am going back into the world. Got a few records to set straight , few old friends to meet"

"I have no interest to keep you alive vampire. But for my family's sake, stay alive and out of trouble. Or else what he gave my grandfather can easily take back with interest" T turned around and gave a knowing smirk.

A spasm of fear passed through Mrinalini

"Wonderful" Tanushree commented "Be at the ritual on time"

Khuranna Mansion'

Jeh looked up from his phone and smiled at his sister "Hey"

"Hey, where were you bhai" Alina asked smiling

"At the Raichands, they are helping us with looking into the attack" Jeh replied removing his jacket.

"Do we have to involve them, isn't this a werewolf business" Alina asked, her eyes hardening.

"Since one of them gave us a head start we can't not involve them sis and well they have cooperated with us before" Jeh said.

"Which we shouldn't have allowed" Alina commented.

Jeh looked at her "Alina they mean no harm"

"I was suggesting that it would be good if we didn't forget that they are our natural enemies" Alina replied, turning back to go to her room.

Abhishiktha doesn seem to be one bit interested in power. BTW whom was she referring to and what was the session all about? 😕 Was Princess Tirtha the true heir she was talking about? Where are they going? Will they land up in Dehradun by any chance? 😲 So the fact that Misha Dobriyal the tomboy n the hunk Kabir r in a relation is quite a shock to everybody in college 😆 Of course Annie being Misha's bff is happy for her coz being teh bimbo she is, she always feared that her bestie will never be able to find a guy for herself let alone be in a relationship 🤣 Loved Piya n Z's convo with Aron 😆 Mind reading could at times be very helpful 😉 in avoiding unnecessary questions for u get the answer even before u voice it out 😆 Miraz works for Dhanraj I presume? This must be the same ritual Dhanraj was talking abt. Just wanted one clarification here - Whats a White Rose Wizard? I suppose its a good wizard but is there anything specific they can do? Any spl powers unlike others of their kind? Abhay is grudgingly working alongside Sid n I hope he realises his brother has changed for good n gives him a chance or the benefit of doubt 😳 Mrinalini n T's convo was quite interesting 😉 So T still does invoke fear in her? Good good. Someone needs to keep a check on Mrinalini 🤢 She isn the one to be trusted 😡 Y is Alina being hostile towards the vampires? 🤔 Am waiting to see what will Abhay n Jeh's findings lead to.
