We have had of late many scenes that matched the past but brought about a contrasting ending. Today too collided with the past, same scenario but with an interrupted departure.
In haste of not revealing her gift for Ahem Gopi accidently dropped the glue onto his work documents, sending him spontaneously into anger. This is so typical of the angry Ahem of the past. However was it the sound of his microphone that brought out his anger less? Also, his angry was not vehemently displayed through his facial expressions.
Upon seeing his ruined documents then her tears he let go of his temper instantly and told her to stop crying. He could not bear to see her crying but diverted his attention in resolving the present situation immediately.
This accident had stolen time from Ahem. He has decided to travel to Bhuj to rectify the matter. For once he was willing to spend time with his Gopi prior to this incident. He even expressed his joy of having this extra time on hand to his business partner, Aman. How unlike the Ahem of the past who would find any excuse to remove himself of anything celebration that has to do with Gopi.
The irony in all of this was Kokila walking in towards the end of this conversation realising that he has to leave urgently on business. With disbelief Kokila could not understand his sudden departure. Further he did not explain to Kokila his reason for going. This could have left Kokila thinking like she had done in previous times that her son does not value his marriage much.
His goodbye only to his mother, look at his forgiving wife and immediate departure left an interrupted ending, one that worried Gopi and one that will affect Ahem.
With Ahem missing will we get to see the memories of his past haunt him?
